That means he didn't get PPV points for UFC 255 and NOT EVEN UFC 256 after a record-breaking turnaround...
Walid(His manager for those that don't know) taking a big big L how do you not negotiate for PPV points... UFC was desperate as hell for a PPV worthy main event that was the perfect time to negotiate PPV points....
You weren't in there during negotiations. How do you know for certain he was even offered a choice?that's a good point
I meant that not literally. In other words agreeing with you lol.no it doesn't...
Just based on production costs, can almost guarantee you MM was a net earner for the UFC. Really hard to believe the promotion loses money on any of their events given how cheap they are to put together. The micro weight division tends to be a net loss.
It's GOAT routinely had people leaving the arena and breastaraunts during his fights. It's GOAT literally crawled between the ref's legs like a mouse.
Don't be surprised if the midget leagues don't get the same benefits as the human size leagues.
Clearly he paid the 'I am a 125er' tax. and JDS was paid the 'I am a Heavyweight' bonus. This is not new bigger guys when all things are equal make more than the little guys.Figgy made less money for both his combined UFC 255 and 256 wins, than JDS made for his loss at UFC 256. shrug.
Where a source to this bc it sound like your are making it up tbh. He's making $120-120 a lot of champs get more than that so I don't believe you.Champs get the choice. High Base pay and no PPV points or Lower Base pay and PPV Points. Obviously he is trying to double dip. He picked the high bonus pay and 2 fights in he wants PPV on top of it.
A lot of people tend to assume this with no supporting evidence.I thought champs automatically got PPV points. His manager should definitely get on that. Fig deserves it.
This is not new. DJ was in this same situation.Where a source to this bc it sound like your are making it up tbh. He's making $120-120 a lot of champs get more than that so I don't believe you.
That doesn't mean anything that's DJ he also was only making $120k till his last 3 UFC fights he then got $350 which again other champs get moreThis is not new. DJ was in this same situation.
This is a quote from DJ
"I've talked to fighters in the past who've had pay-per-view points, and they'll fight on pay-per-view, and they won't reach their goal, so they won't get the pay-per-view points," Johnson (19-2-1 MMA, 7-1-1 UFC) told MMAjunkie Radio. "I know I'm not a big name like Anderson Silva or [Georges St-Pierre]. That's why there are only a few guys that have that kind of thing.
"I'd rather take the money up front than wager a bet."

To add to my previous post look at the title fight between Joanna and Claudia on TUF 23 Finale. They both made similar money and people complained about that but Joanna went on to fight on a Conor PPV and ended up making about 2.2mil that year. She chose the lower base pay and PPV points then fought like hell to fight on Conor and Ronda Cards which is while she has made over 4mil in 2 years.Where a source to this bc it sound like your are making it up tbh. He's making $120-120 a lot of champs get more than that so I don't believe you.
What do you think "I'd rather take the money up front than wager a bet." means? The money up front is the guaranteed higher base pay. The wager is that he could get on a draws PPV. If you can't figure that out I can't help you. That doesn't mean anything
