Fights you will never or refuse to watch

Mir vs. Nogueira 1 and 2 never happened, so there's no reason to ever talk about it. Why waste time talking about fights that just, plain and simple, didn't fuckin happen?

Nog could have knocked Mir out if he just backed off and kept punching. Instead he jumped on him and Mir snapped his freaking arm. Broke my heart.

Tony Ferguson vs Justin Gaethje - I watched it live but have never rewatched it and don't think I planned to. I'd never imagined Tony would take such a career altering beating some day.

That’s the one for me too. Tony’s career died in an empty arena and he never got the title shot he deserved due to a number of different factors.

Chuck was born in 1969 and the fight with Horn was in 1999. He started doing martial arts in 1981. You want to see ridiculous, look in the fucking mirror.
He did karate and got tapped by one of the best BJJ guys of the time bigger than 185 lbs... 33 fights with like 23 subs to 2... Jesus man....
.. I see why you have dubs...

Condit vs. Diaz

I missed it live and was shocked when I heard how horrible it was. I'm one of the lucky few who gets to pretend like that "fight" never happened.
I'm a huge fan of both of them. This was probably the most excited for a fight that I can remember.
I wasn't working at the time and still paid for it. Have never been the same since haha.

I've "never gotten around" to watching the full Stipe-Struve fight for so long that I've developed a bit of a superstitious wariness of it. I do intend to watch it from the start, but it'll probably come about only after Stipe retires.

You forgot to mention Chuck had 22 kickboxing fights and was a division I wrestler in college. But let's pretend he was some 30-year-old newbie. DOY!

Chicks and any men's fight under 145lbs, honestly I barely even watch any of the fights anymore even though I get them for free. I tuned in for Derrick Lewis last fight. Imo UFC has jumped the shark.

We all must have fights we will never or refuse to watch for our own reasons. As fight fans, I’m sure we have allowed our bias to control us at one point or another. I’m sure some would deny it, but it’s inevitable. That’s where my selection comes in.

For me, the number one fight that comes to mind is actually not a highly recognized one like say a title fight. It is Chuck Liddell vs. Keith Jardine. I have never seen it, and I never will. I started watching MMA because of Chuck Liddell around 2005, (TUF noob if you will) and have been hooked ever since. His horrible fall was a hard one to watch, and I made excuses along the way. Looking back, I realize he started to lose a step after his rubber match win against Randy, but it wasn’t so clear to me at the time. (Bias still going strong suggesting he lost a step rather than just being bested)

Chuck vs. Babalu 2 - Sure, he got clipped a bit early, but he recovered fast and made Babalu pay in under 2 minutes! That’s what you get when you rush a counter striker like Chuck.

Chuck vs. Tito 2 - Sure, Chuck was a little sloppy and got tagged a lot, but that’s because he had zero respect for Tito’s striking. He walked through everything and finished him in the end…

Chuck vs. Rampage 2 - alright, he got caught.. not a lot happened and he went for an ill advised body shot. Rampage caught him and that’s it. Chuck won’t do the same in a third fight, let’s see it!

Chuck vs. Jardine - Easy tune up fight, I’m busy that night though so I’ll catch it later. “Chuck is susceptible to leg kicks though and Jardine dishes them out well.” No. Chuck isn’t getting beat by Keith Jardine. Only a hater would pick Jardine. (I remember posting this on a different forum) … Chuck drops a split. Those leg kicks really took their toll after all I guess. I was wrong. Well, not watching that one..

That fight sucked by default. I will never watch it. Jardine was a spoiler on Chuck’s comeback and it led to one of the greatest UFC declines we have seen from a top fighter. Yikes. At least I got to see Chuck beat Silva before his chin completely digressed.

Anyways, long rant over. Just wanted to put a lot of context into what fight fits the bill for me, but what about you sherbros? What is a fight you will never/refuse to watch if there are any? Or is that petty to you, and you will always gladly watch all despite the victor because you are a “true” fight fan?
I refuse to watch Jon Jones replays or highlights until he officially loses

I don’t mind watching nature take it’s course, it just sucked Tony never got red panty night for all the good fights he’s given the organization.

I will never watch the finals of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. That SOB Larusso cheated and ended up with a bogus win. He better hope I don't see him again....
This is so much better, coming from a 10 year old white belt, ahahah!

conor’s lw title fight vs alvarez. his whole run really seemed fishy to me, starting with brandao. i know lots of people will disagree with me on that, but it just seemed fake and predetermined. right or wrong, i did not see the greatness others were seeing, and it instead appeared to me that his opponents were taking dives. don’t flame, that’s just my opinion. anyway, i believed that whoever held the lw belt (whether it was rda, alvarez, or someone else) would continue this tradition, and that the fight would end with a weird looking ko. never saw the fight, so i don’t know how it looked. i did see the first nate fight though, and it kinda of confirmed by suspicion because nate seems too unreliable to bring into a scheme like that.
I won't flame at your opinion, but I definitely will laugh at it, wow, lmfao, I'm not even at Conor nut rider but this is laughable.
