Might be a bit too specific to ask for but I’m really enjoying watching tall guys who use their reach and distance in a good way against shorter and often more powerful opponents.

One great example is Jon Jones vs Rampage Jackson where Jones controlled distance the whole fight with his oblique kicks, jabs and (inb4) eye pokes.

Any more examples? I have fight pass ready so hook me up with some fights!

Nunes-Rousey
Wonderboy-Hendricks
Mousasi fights

Pretty one-sided beatdowns, though.

Mousasi vs Latifi is a good example, if not the most exciting one.

Joanna vs Andrade

I can't remember which fights but Cyrille Diabate did it in a few fights with his lanky frame

Thanks dude. I’m watching Rory vs Woodley right now but I’m always down for some Mousasi fights. Probably gonna check out him vs Latifi first :)

Semmy Schilt vs Shoji, Satake, Takayama - Not really fair since Sem absolutely dwarfed Shoji and Satake, and he had a good 5 or 6 inches on Takayama....

Miocic vs Beltran - while they are standing

Edgar vs Griffin - while they are standing

Kharitonov vs Ninja - There are times when Kharitonov lets it turn into a slug fest, but for the most part he uses his height and length well...

Okami vs Lombard - He isn't successful for the whole fight but does very well for himself in the first

Bisping vs Leben

Bustamante vs Sakurai - Fight does make it to the ground

Varner vs Hicks

Cerrone vs Varner, Mcoullough

A. Njokuani vs Hordecki, Corbrey, Makdessi, Winner, Bowling

Hathaway vs Sanchez

There are more, but these ones come to mind

I want an example of the opposite

Okami vs McDonald - McDonald had a significant reach advantage but Okami got the better standing

Curran vs Ledbetter - most of the fight ended up taking place on the ground, but Curran was oustriking Ledbetter, who was much taller and longer

Valencia vs McCall - Wasn't a significant advantage, but basically Valencia just waited for McCall to come to him before attacking

Sherk vs Diaz - Sherk basically kept Diaz off balance by mixing shots and strikes together, so Diaz couldn't commit like he normally did

Cote vs Groves - Not sure if I can add it, since Groves was pretty much controlling the fight until the knockdown...

Couture vs Sylvia - Couture pretty much used a looping overhand right early in the fight, and that discouraged Sylvia from using his jab...

I feel like I should be saying Struve as he must have a 459 inch reach, but can't seem to use it to his advantage.

This. It’s often frustrating to watch him.

Penn vs Sherk

Conor vs Alvarez

Chuck Liddell had great movement and angles

If you want to see examples of shorter guys outstriking tall guys watch Igor Vovchanchyn, Fedor, Daniel Cormier, Mark Hunt.
