I am Canadian and think GSP is top 3 goat, but I also will agree the GSP Serra fight is likely the most significant fight that changed a fighter. I have liked all of GSP's fights, but he realized, with the skill set he had, that he could really beat anyone in any way. All he had to do is duck the punch. So he ducked the punch.

I still liked watching him fight, but it became VERY controlled. GSP by 100% whatever he wants.
And that was what happened. He got hit like 2 times in 10 defenses?

Didn't see the Hendricks fight I guess.

Crocop was never the same when he left the pride ring and entered the octagon.

So basically when Korean Zombie got ktfo by Roop he changed his wild ways. There is even an interview where he said he needed to be more careful.

Also Bader changed his ways after the Texiera fight

Jake Ellenberger vs. Martin Kampmann

Ellenberger was initially winning, expeneded too much energy and then got KTFO, after that he was always far too cautious and never lived up to his potential.

Brett Rogers vs. Fedor

Rogers had a KO win over Arlovski, did well against Fedor rd 1 then got KTFO, was never the same, unfortunately he then got wrecked by UberREEM his very next fight, a fight he never stood a chance in. Rogers never had the same confidence after that fight.

I'm happy to say Aldo looked just as good after the Conor fight. I think he could still beat him

Fedor vs Rogers. Rogers went from 10-0 to 17-10 to groping men

He clearly became more gun shy. Also he just couldn't adjust to the cage and was more comfortable in the ring.
Sure, but he was already past-his-prime. There were already signs in Pride.
