Excited to spend some time with this tomorrow. Was really big into League of Legends back in the day.

This game is ass and it will always be ass

Terrible control layout structure

terrible tag mechanics

terrible inadequacies between movement/move of characters for fast pace gameplay

too reliant on obscure knowledge checks with no defensive options/selects to overcome them

This game isn't too much for newer players to overcome, its just a bad design from the jump. Its got all the things anime/tag fighters have without the necessary counter play or leniency needed to overcome the bullshit.

This game is legitimately more broken than Guilty Gear Xrd when it comes to unstoppable bullshit. At least GG was fun.

Honestly, it seems like the only people who enjoy this are Riot zealots and people who will play literally any fighting game.

The biggest issue people have is the limited roster space, balance, and Vanguard anti-cheat. Vanguard alone is why I would never play that game. Its spyware.

Riot Games as a game developer is in a really weird spot because of Tencents financial mandates. While as a games design company Riot Games is trying to emulate Blizzard of old.
