I didn't get a chance to play it until the Sunday of that beta. Went up against a Ranger doing all of these fancy combos, obviously had been playing over the weekend. Figured out what he was doing and I barely won my first match against him using nothing but tick throws, sweeps, and 2 hit combos. Basic fundamentals. He hit that rematch button immediately, heh. Beat him again. Then he switch characters, so I picked Ranger and beat him again, lol.

Fun game. Simplified controls doesn't mean a bad game at all.

Nice man, I bet he was pretty tilted. Sounds like the basics will at least give you a fighting chance. I don’t know the first thing about anime fighters. At the SD FGC local there’s a weeb corner for all of those guys who like playing them. I’m definitely leaning towards grabbing it. I saw the control scheme and agree simple controls can still bring in the fun. Haven’t seen much from Riot but I believe their system is also simplistic controls.

I wonder if SF6 will have a time mechanic in it like MK or Riots game. Have they ever done anything like that? Could turn out to be the new Elena lol.

Also, saw this. Not technically a FG but a brawler. Looked interesting.

Guilty Gear Strive is on sale atm. I recommend it.

Gigabash reminds me of King of the Monsters. Looks cool.

God ducking damn it. I want Adon in Street Fighter 6. We need a Muay Thai fighter in the roster that’s not Sagat. Not including him is disrespectful to the art of Muay Thai. I guess I have to settle with Luke’s water down mma version of Muay Thai.
