Made me decide not to get it. Shame because the game is fun. Might go with SF6 since they have a new version coming out with all characters so far or perhaps use the money towards something else

What’s your deal? I just canceled my preorder. A lot of stuff coming out this year and yeah I have a problem with crappy guest characters taking up the base roster. What’s wrong with having principles? It’s not like there’s a lack of fighting games

Everyone online always has some stupid fucking reason to not buy a fighting game. Every, fucking, one. You still don't have SF6. People just don't play fighting games and have these Stephen A Smith level takes on shit they aren't even interested in. You liked the game in the beta but you're voting with your wallet on a singular aspect that you don't even need to utilize. This always happens with every game. "Oh, I care about the base roster" and the reality is you're never going to get a base roster you always enjoy. It never happens. Super Turbo isnt coming out again where you just accept shit for what it is.

I bought SFV, it sucked, I quit it. It took me a while to accept SF6 because the beta was super whack. I still tried Strive even though its massively different than Xrd and Accent core. But heres the thing, the games weren't fun, they werent good. I didn't enjoy them. It's not some ridiculous shit like "oh I didnt get Makoto so I'm not buying it!"

By all means, don't buy it. I'm not defending the game, I'm not saying you don't have a right to feel the way you do. I just don't believe its a sincere point. If we got into politics and gaming I can see whether its sincere because of belief systems. This is just a fun guest character. It's not that serious.

I'm having a good day, just got done doing valve cover gasket and spark plugs if you really wanna know about my day.

Btw - I don't pre-order games. I haven't purchased CotW yet just in case of some fuckery on launch. But as of right now, it's a solid day 1 buy. I don't support the shitty business practices of game companies.
 
If anyone is curious about trying a fight game with a very unique approach, I cannot recommend Your Only Move Is Hustle enough. It's basically a blend between a traditional 2D fighting game and a TAS. Had tons of fun playing this with friends and you are rewarded with an awesome fight scene at the end of every match. It's really hard to describe the gameplay without just showing a tutorial

Some of ya'll don't know how hard it was.

The struggle was REAL. :)

The first time I played it, the controls just felt weird! I was like "Screw this! I'm going back to twin Eagle!"

Yeah, he's come sooo close, so many times, but I think that he'll get his one day, just like Punk did at Evo last year. EndingWalker is still so young.

The pain in that picture. Really puts into perspective that the current patch was more of the "final straw" than something that happened overnight.
