Idom beating BigBird and Dual Kevin (both Rashid players) to get to Grand Finals was impressive.

Went to a FGC local yesterday for the first time in years. Finally decided to get back in and take a game seriously. I competed in Granblue and got 4th. Was honestly pretty proud of my performance given how green I still am in the game. They also do SF6 and Tekken 8 that same night. I think once Mai comes out I'm gonna get back into SF6 and enter in that as well.

They had a costume night since Halloween is close and some people came dressed up. Here is a guy in a Dinsour costume competing in the SF6 bracket lol. Pretty sure he played Blanka-chan which made it double hilarious 😂

Honestly she seems like the best fit for any of the SF3 era characters to SF6 to me in both fighting style and design, not really stepping on the toes of anyone already in the game either.

Dudley is the other one people seem to want although I do think design wise he's best suited to a 2d anime art style.

Fun thing Dudley is next vid, think will build it up in 1 day or 2 already got th clips 😃

Is my fav SF boxer both for character design and mveset but feel his chances for SF6 are kinda fucked... now that they made Ed more pure boxer guess like even if different he entered a bit Dudley's territory moveset wise

Plus story hint Balrog may be in Season 3, and i have to admit with Ed already in Rog is a more different boxer... not sure they would add a third boxer


For me priority wise i like to see main martial arts getting a rep, like the very first thing currently missing i want see covered is Muay Thai/Thailand rep (either Sagat or Adon)
Elena was on my wishlist too, lucky at least thatgot covered by S2

There are 7-8 repeated flags each lines so they might be the placement flags for them to filling out with new country flags in future updates.

Rashid (Saudi Arabia) and Jamie (the leaked document had Hong Kong as his residence location but he could get retconned as a Chinese character): are only two characters that didn't comes with stages for either modes.

There are several things that stand out for me is

  1. We got Iran flag which is pretty unusual because we didn't have anyone coming from Iran in first place, and none of newcomers from base or season 1 comes from there as well. And it's only a stage flag that had no representative in World Tour which stand out quite a lot for me.
  2. Also other thing that got my attention is Rashid was planned to be part of Street Fighter 6 from the beginning (due to the codes and leaked document); yet they wouldn't able to include Saudi Arabia as a flag and a stage in the game for unknown reasons.
  3. I would like to point something out. Strangely, they didn't even bother to included other countries that already had representatives, such as; Canada (Abigail) and Egypt (Menat). I don't think Canada would be difficulties to deal with to include their flag in the game.
Call me crazy but it does feel like they already planned for first 3 seasons in advance; and we might see Germany and South Korea stages this season. I wouldn't be surprised if Akuma is going to get his own stage but I don't know how they would handle Akuma's location so it might be his temple stage or hidden cave in Nayshall.

Elena got confirmed and Vega just like Rog seems very strong candidate for S3 due Bison's SF6 story

You could argue Dudley is the anti Balrog I spose, both character wise and play style with more fluid combos.

Yeah, plus i got to admit Rog would bring in a kind of playstyle so far we don't have... guess in SF others that bring same/similar are Q and to some extent G, and neither so far are in SF6

Plus SF2 privilege 😃

You could argue almost SF1 privilage although Capcom always claim not, honestly despite growing up with SF2 I tend to think design/personality wise some of the cast have always been a bit bland but you could argue Balrog I spose did develop a bit in latter games,

Yeah once one remove the "Tyson" tribute gimmick, he never been good as Dudley as chara design

But must admit SFV version is probably the best redesign of whole cast, shit was great... lot of charisma, details and 100% fitting the Rog's spirit

I still prefer Dudley's but don't deny i loved it, really an evolution... and i was critical of most redesigns there, most of times prefered keep the original over SFV version

Also got to admit Rog bring in a playstyle nobody else does so far, so i can see one more reason for them to add him


PS: speaking of missing playstales wish more grapplers, both big body (we need Hugo!) or speedy ones (Laura my first pick but Mika too)
