Rigondeaux won the full WBA title in his 9th fight at Super Bantamweight. He took it off of Rico Ramos. The very next year he beat Donaire. That's when the WBA promoted him to "Super" champion. It gave him preeminent status but he was already the full (primary) WBA champion before then.

BoxRec removed all WBA recognition because of the Turki/Saudi & WBA involvement in creating the new FightFax.

It's bad news. Most of us frequently rely on BoxRec for pulling that type of information. For them to purge it, acting as if the WBA never even existed, is troubling.

i have him blocked, so the forum looks fantastic for me, just new threads would be good rather than derailing every half decent thread, loads of stuff being talked about in threads that have got nothing to do with that subject

Those threads are informative.
I think theres alot of ppl that get news from our subsection and hes great at keeping it up to date.
