I find it interesting when guys have fought each other before they made it big.. Here are some

Jorge Masvidal: in his 6th fought Raphael Assuncao, and Joe Lauzon as 7th, both in 2005 before ufc.. Masvidal also beat Yves Edwards right before he went to strikeforce..
Assuncao and Lauzon also fought each other before ufc..

Nick Diaz: fought Chris Lytle in his second fight ever
Matt Brown: in his 9th defeated former Bellator champ Douglas Lima, this was Limas 6th
Tony Ferguson: in his 3rd tapped out Kickboxer Joe Schilling
Michael Johnson: in his 6th fight lost to James Krause who was 7-0 at the time
Chris Weidman: in his 3rd beat Uriah Hall, this was Halls 5th and his 6th was against Costas Philippou
Frankie Edgar: Beat Jim Miller in his 6th fight, both guys had a record of 5-0 at the time
Mehdi Baghdad: Lost his 2nd fight to Charles Oliveira
Wilson Reis: in his 3rd beat Zach Makovsky and then Bryan Carraway in his 5th..
Takanori Gomi: in his 6th Beat Johnny Eduardo, Eduardo was 11-3

Jacare Souza: defeated Alexander Shlemenko in his 3rd fight ever, When Shlemenko was 22-3

Honorable mention is Yuji Nagata who decided Mma wasnt for him after losing his only two fights against Crocop and Fedor..

Gray Maynard and Evan Dunham fought an amateur bout in 2006 for SportFight.

Thanks for posting, I didn't know Diaz & Lytle fought before , I'd love to see that
 
Carlos Condit lost a kickboxing match to Andy Souwer way back in 2003.

Stopped late in the 5th round from low kicks.
 
Who cares about fighters in the ufc who fought each other before ufc. I would rather know how many fought each other before ufc and also in ufc, and how many had different outcomes in each fight.

Off the top of my head, wandy vs rampage in pride (rampage lost) Wandy vs rampage in ufc (wandy lost)

And theresa bunch of others.

Shevchenko beat Joanna in Kickboxing back in the day.
 
Fedor was in a handful that are all interesting.

Condit fought a bunch of UFC vets before you came into the organization. He also had a pro boxing match lined up against Cerrone, that fell through.

Nick Diaz fought a guy named Jermey Jackson 3 different times across 3 organizations. First fight was in UA 4: King of the Mountain and Diaz lost via TKO, 2nd fight was in IFC Warriors Challenge 18 and Diaz won via TKO. There last meeting was Nick’s first octagon appearance and he won via submission.

interesting. I don't remember that fight in the ufc nor have i seen the others outside the ufc.
 
Cerrone lost to Benson twice in the WEC and then beat him in the UFC.

Gleison Tibau fought Thiago Alves in his 3rd pro bout (Thiago's 1st) in Brazil in 2001 and won by armlock
