Oh yeah I was also a Ronnie Markes fan, to me he was like the successor to Filho. But the UFC didn't like him and fed him to a younger Yoel, it was the worst matchup possible at the time, considering Markes was a one dimensional grappler. His next fight he got finished very early by a sick Thiago Santos body kick before he even had a chance to attempt a takedown.

I also like Vemola from that era, just fought like a big caveman juice head, he was awesome .
