Fighters that live up to their nicknames

I thought of him as some demi-god who does 100 man kyokushin kumite on daily basis for warm up. I thought he was some crazy super human. The Serra loss felt weird, not shocked but it felt not something that is part of reality.

He personified everything that I wanted in a fighter growing up as a teenage. From his fighting style, to his swang, all the way down to his physique, no homo. Old GSP highlight reels were up there with Wandy, crocop, etc for me.

JOHNNY REES
"THE HATER HURTER"

This man has hurt all his haters, now he has no more haters. That is how good he is at hurting haters.

Rory Macdonald the red king. He earn that nickname in the one fight we all know.

Which fighter lives up to their nickname the best?

Due to recent news, I noticed that Lee "Lightning" Murray has the perfect nickname because he lives up to it as perfectly as possible. He really is a lightining.

Conor McGregor: known as the notorious. Often times the term is a form of infamy but its an infamy that is well respected. He has lived up to it earlier but recently his behavior is more silly than notorious. But still a well fitted nickname.

Joe "Diesel" Riggs: Not in the UFC anymore but back in his heydays, he had amazing cardio+ hit super hard and diesel goes well with his last name.

Karo Parisyan: At one point, he brought the heat. Most people forgot but it was a good nickname for him at one point.
Lee Murray really is a lightning? What does that even mean?

I will say Keith Jardine really was a dean of mean. I heard a rumor that Wanderlei Silva really did kill someone in Brazil in his younger days, so Axe murderer seems to fit.* An Chuck Liddell really was cool as ice in the octagon, so Iceman fits. * only kidding

Anthony "Crumble" Johnson

Always crumble when things are going his way

Jon Bones Jones - probably the most effective elbows in MMA history. The guy used the elbows as well as people used the jab. Plus his use of elbows when he was on top was vicious.

I can tell you who's nickname DOES NOT fit

Alexander The Great Hernandez

Meathead ................Matt Mitrione

There are many but Justin "The Highlight" Gaethje, without a doubt lives up to his nickname like no one else. El Cucuy (the boogeyman) has been lived up too for a very long time too by Tony.
