Jeff Monson - North South Choke
Ronda Rousey - Armbar
Paul Sass - Triangle Choke
OSP - St. Preux (Flue) Choke
Alexey Oleynik - Ezekiel Choke
Rousimar Palhares - Heel Hook

Didn't one fighter get back to back Omoplata subs in MMA? Can't remember who.

Hasn't Bryce Mitchell a few twister subs in his career?

All off the top of my head.

What other ones are there?

A little write up on the fighters I posted.

Monson - 17 north souths in his career. One in the UFC. Defeated Kharitonov and Alex Emelianenko with the north south. Funnily enough, he also submitted Alexey Oleynik but with a RNC. Record: 61 - 26 - 2.

Rousey - 9 armbars in her career. Most armbar finishes in UFC/WEC/Pride/Strikeforce history. Record: 12 - 2

Sass - 9 triangles in his career. Nicknamed the Sassangle. Record: 14 - 2.

OSP - 4 Von Flues in his career, all in the UFC. Has the most by far in the UFC. Record: 26 - 17.

Alexey - 14 ezekiel chokes in his career. Only fighter to ever finish a fight by ezekiel in UFC history, but not just once, twice in the UFC. Record: 60 - 17 - 1

Palhares - 10 heel hooks in his career. Broken many limbs with such maneuver for refusing to let go, but he was/is the king at heel hooks. Record 19 - 12 - 1

Paul Harris is a leg lock specialist, which is becoming increasingly common in competition BJJ. Heel hooks are so dangerous that even within the world of BJJ many schools don't allow it for lower belts because the margin of error between tap and torn MCL and fucked up knee for the rest of your life is razor thin.

Rousey was good with the armbars because she got good at using them within the very specific rules of Judo. Also she was champ during the infancy stages of WMMA and her opponents were relatively less well rounded than we see today.

Imanari is another leg lock or die guy. I am pretty sure the whole Alpha Male has great guillotines is from Faber and maybe Benevidez. Ubereem is another guy known for this guillotine but that sorta went away when it failed against Stipe.

Rickson by armbar

But in all seriousness, what comes to my mind is already said so...Rickson by armbar.

It's Paul Sass btw, not Pass Sass. He's one of the guys that first comes to mind for things like this.

Haha I was typing too quick. I saw him fight live at the O2 and win by triangle. He's a British fellow. I've been wondering for years why he retired, do you know anything as to why? He was a savage on his back.

oh yeah just fyi

um i don't really know I know I was curious about this too, so I remember trying to find out but never did...

I think it was either injury or him thinking he can't making to the top and retiring on a win, but just speculation on my part.

Rousey by armbar has to be one of the all-time greats. Like three fights into her career, every one of her opponents knew Rousey would go for the armbar. They must have worked extra hard to defend it in their training. No matter. Rousey by armbar, and usually early in the first round.
