Thans “women” are men. And reverse.
Science doesn’t lie. There’s 2 genders. Period.
i wasen't making that comment to ague that point.
it is definitely not as black and white as people think and i also wasn't saying they should be allowed to compete in wmma. I was saying that a lot would actually be at a disadvantage as opposed to an advantage like fallon had due to her late in life transition and possibly other factors.
i think there are three because there is intersex, but there are many variations in hormone levels, brain chemistry, all sorts of things like that across the specturm. If you meet a trans person before they transition you usually wonder why this male is so feminine in the way they move talk and think, they cant be categorized the same when it comes to all things. It seems natural the way they do it but to you it is unnatural. I never met a trans person who i'd consider a man. I have seen some crossdressers, transvestities/ drag queens who okay i see the issues here that people have but actual trans people are not thinking and functioning like normal males. they often grow up with testosterone as low as most females, go through puberty late, and their brain fires more similarly to someone running on estrogen despite having the opposite genitalia.
do i agree that scientifically there are only a few genders ? yeah. But i think that there is a spectrum among those genders and it is possible to be born biologically male but have essentially all but your genitalia being something as would be defined and categorized as feminine, i dont think these people should be defined as men. people like this have existed throughout human history. it is not a new thing. and they were doing it back when you couldn't take drugs or have surgeries. some males and females are just born with more mental and physical traits than that of their biological gender.
This is confusing because like i was saying before there are many identities or sexual fetishes people confuse with being transgender .
it highlights a bigger issue and that is the way people are grouped and generalized and the assumptions that are made when it comes to race and gender. The way society pushes men vs woman as if all men were the same and all women were the same. people vary greatly.
