Fighters Strategically Moving up Weight Classes

Bro I don’t know what makes you sound more stupid, you insinuating that Israel would vacate the division because of a guy who’s not even ranked in the top 15 yet, or of Jones being afraid of a guy he wiped his ass with twice.

Funny you mention that Jones moved up as soon as DC retired. But, you don’t say Adesanya moved up as soon as Jones vacated, and left the division.

Doesn’t that make way more sense than saying Adesanya is somehow ducking a guy whose best win was against rank 23 Gerald? Considering Adesanya is still the champion and all.

Especially since Borz’ next fight is at WW. And a win in that fight would obviously set him up for a TS, or number 1 contender fight. Thereby keeping him at WW for a minimum of 2-3 fights.

Jones literally said (a year ago) that he would not want to give DC the "advantage" by having a trilogy at Heavyweight. Then he moves up to HW immediately after 41 year old DC retires. Current Jones is also not juicing like he was when he fought drained LHW DC years back.

GSP should have moved up when Anderson was champ. He would have won easily imo.

Current DC is also pushing 300 lbs and risking cardiac arrest to get back down to limit
 
Cejudo going up once Garbrandt was out of the picture completely.
Anderson going up to hitman style take out the real threats so his buddy Machida would not have to face them.

Yeah Izzy is moving up because of a hypejob that hasn't beaten anybody noteworthy and Jones is moving because he hasn't fought dozens of opponents of the same caliber for years
