News Fighters Removed: Javid Basharat, Alex Morono

Very unfortunate. There was lots of hype on Basharat after his DWCS fight but he didn't really improve during his UFC run. Can't blame UFC for getting rid of him though.

Morono longtime vet. Was close to being ranked at one point if i'm not mistaken. Notable wins against Max Griffin. Donald Cerrone and Tim Means. Tough guy who fought anyone, anytime.

Props to Morono for sticking around so long. He has to be one of the most vanilla fighters of all time. Absolutely nothing about his game or personality stands out lol

Javid was probably at the end of his contract and the UFC just said no thanks to resigning him. Morono should retire.

I’m guessing he fought out his contract and the ufc didn’t want to re-sign him or he refused to negotiate and wanted to leave

agree 100%. consolidate the super low weight classes, it doesn't work here like that.

would make it more interesting too, seeing people having to be forced to go up in weight IMO.

i'd also consolidate the womens division into one weight class.

13-10-1 only 2 post fight bonuses 1 in 2018 and one in 2021 so no bonus in 5 years and 11 fights later. Still better than Brad Tavares though. Lol

Going through his record he actually did get on a few different win streaks but mostly all boring decisions. Evolev is another one 9 fights and one bonus and peeps are crying he's not getting a TS? lol
