Maybe it depends on the fights, or my memory is hazy. I'm pretty old and my memory may be playing tricks on me.

Definitely depends on the fights/opponents. His last 3 fights were criticized for being boring, but of course people only complained that his opponents made it boring, even though 2/3 of the said opponents were highly regarded as 2 of the most exciting fighters before their fights. I, for one, did not find them boring. I think people complaining were mainly just fanboys mad about Nick losing (decision).

Right now in terms of entertainment nobody can hold a candle to Gaethje. There is just something special about a man that walks relentlessly into punishment just to dole out some of his own justice. Complete lack of fear, ready to hit the canvas for entertainments sake. Incredible man that puts his health on the line not for winning but for our entertainment. Gaethje is getting CTE for our sins.

Perry - Completely unhinged, good power, always goes forward, wants to bang
Nate - Insane cardio, high volume, iron chin, talks shit, stockton slap
Conor - Biggest showman in MMA, his fights are eletric, always huge stakes, 21 wins with 18 KO/TKOs
TJ Dillashaw - P4p one of the best, never in a boring fight, extremely creative
Zabit - Extremely creative, mixes things up well, have a lot of hype

Jones, DC, MM and Cruz are up there too, but they do have a few stinkers here and there.

I'm sure there's more I forgot right now.
