Fighters most fun to watch

There are different types of fun fighters to watch depending on what you're looking for. Most people are looking for those amazing wars with lots of heavy shots and blood, fighters who have no problem throwing caution to the wind if that's where the fight is heading. Doesn't mean all of their fights are like that because if you go out there without a game plan every time, chances are you won't get far, but still there were some successful people who have been repeatedly engaged in such slugfests like Robbie Lawler, Korean Zombie, Carlos Condit, Justin Gaethje, Matt Brown and Nick Diaz. Just to name a few.

Then there are guys that are fun to watch for the crazy stunts they like to throw in there regularly. Yair Rodriguez and Anthony Pettis in his prime are some examples. Never know what kind of crazy technique you might get when they're fighting. But I'd say with those you always have a much higher risk of being disappointed because there mostly aren't many openings for successful highlight reel strikes.

What's often underrated in discussions about exciting fighters are those who almost never disappoint and constantly display absolute top notch technique in their fights, making them enjoyable not for the action but for how ridiculously good they are at what they're doing. Thinking of guys like GSP, Dominick Cruz or a prime Anderson Silva. But as you can expect those are a rarity.

And then there are fighters who make fights exciting by simply being there since they create that big fight atmosphere in the arena every single time. Guys like McGregor or Brock Lesnar.

I always bought events with Chris Leben on the card. He was never going to contend for a title, but he threw 110% into every round and always put on a good show. Tough son of a bitch too, with tons of heart.
