Lapse of judgement sir lol.

And no its not like you with traffic tickets, because you probably drive like a nut lol.

I can understand where that comes from brother.
O, and I don't think you have been mean. So I didn't accept your apology. You're most likely being true about what you write. (People reading this may not know about your poems, etc.)

Guilty as charged... Doesn't help that I own one of these...

or you would know that they are humans like us.
They are talking, without the benefit of watching the fight, and it may be in his head very different from what we saw.
He is also spitballing things that went wrong, whatever pops in his mind.
And seriously? You'll compare to soccer or Tennis? How many times do THEY get punched in the head multiple times in a loss.
He is sad, disappointed, probably dizzy and he feels he owes an explanation to his fans.
Besides, what the fuck do you want him to say? People like you would always find something stupid to demean them, no matter what.

Making fun of "their excuses" is for someone who feels the need of feeling superior to these fighters. Because want it or not, you are putting him/her down and making fun of their response. No matter what they said, you already discounted as bullshit . There's no way to win this argument for them, especially with people like you.
Yes, very true, not just me, but for most. People make memes of the stupid excuses fighters have. The way to come out of a loss with some dignity and respect is not to make excuses. Congratulate your opponent, take your loss like a boss, move on, and get ready for the next opponent.

Gotta be a fan of Gaethje and Rampage (after the Forest fight) and BJ after he lost to Edgar, and Holm after Tate choked her unconscious...
no lame bullshit... just "They had a better night"/"I made mistakes" shows who's an adult and who isn't, that's for sure...

"They had a better night"/"I made mistakes" isn't lame bullshit?

To each their own but if I gotta be a fan of anyone, I'm picking the fighters that didn't get their ass kicked.

again, you can't discount the human nature!
Yes, it is easy to say "just shut up". But up there, with the TV's on your face, Rogan asking stupid quesiton Like "what were you thinking while your opponent was using your head as a Basketball?", and he feels he owes an explanation to his team, to his fans. So he tries to provide one.
Same as when they get kicked in the nuts. It's easy to say "just recover the whole 5 minutes", but when you have the whole arena watching you and silently pressuring you to go back to the fight.... say what you want, I am positive most of them are speaking before they are fully recovered.
And 99.999% of the people would crack same as the fighters. If not worse.

Fighters must use excuse as the working man cannot. Working man slaves away without “opportunity” in many cases only to be shit out and discarded. Fighter makes excuse for as long as he can for this to not happen. Accept cte as punishment

I've seen a lot on the dawg lately about Ngannou's excuses and I wasn't aware of any.

Can somebody give me the rundown on what his excuses are?
He said in a French interview that the main event fight (against Joshua) happened hours late, which threw him off mentally and that he believes Joshua's gloves were tampered with. Also that he doesn't consider Joshua a superior boxer to him, being that he wasn't himself on fight Night.

I hate hearing excuses. Mentioning injuries after a loss is not always an excuse, sometimes it’s just a contributing factor.

Why is hard for people to understand fighters have massive egos, it's what fuels them. Excuses are there to protect there ego and help them keep that mundse6

The worst is when they say, "I don't want to make any excuses but..." Then they proceed to make excuses lol. I guess these guys in their head just don't ever think they're going to lose, so when they do, it's hard to process. But, they always just end up looking like a fool when making lame excuses.
This. It’s like “no offense but” and then proceed to offend them.

Alstair Overeeem's claim that he didn't win was because he DID win but the ref didn't see the tap.
