Fighters excuses

Oh man, you really know how to stretch shit huh?
You should write for Hollywood, they're certainly lacking creativity sir.

And "go fuck myself"?
Really into that fake outrage today.

I still love you despite your flaws lol
I am without blemish.

I speak truth.

You got yellow carded!? REEEEEEEE

First, no one is feeling superior to anyone, not sure how you made this leap. Many UFC fighters make ignorant, lame excuses. You hear very few excuses in football, basketball, tennis, golf and most other main-stream sports. Why so many in MMA? You would think the athletes would know excuses suck, discredit your opponent, and reflect poorly on your character.
Cos they get beat the fuck up and have to wait 3 to 6 months before they can fight again?

Maybe if no one ever had compared fight sports to regular bullshit sports we'd be alot better off and waste alot less time

Well. I had covid 9 times. So you can have one of my call outs. O yeah, I got fired due to the first time. You can borrow if you want. It was pretty good too. I can't see smell taste hear and I think I'm dying. K. Feel better, but if you're not coming in you have to be let go click...
Ouch... I'd rather be pulled by my balls through a rock quarry than that coldness sir lol.

Was it the costume was too heavy?

One of the most ridiculous excuses ever BUT that fucking thing weighed 40lbs. I don't care who you are, do a slow walk with 40lbs and then be at the peak of your abilities right after.. it was beyond stupid (and not a backpack weighing 40lbs either, we're talking a full on costume all over your body and limbs impeding your breathing and making you overheat)
not just the costume, but also:

- Fury had egg weights in his gloves
- Fury's gloves were not put on properly so he was hitting with his exposed knuckles
- Mark Breland was a spy for Fury's camp
- Mark Breland poisoned Wilder's water
- random remarks implying race was a part of the stoppage even though Kenny Bayless is black

and many more that i cant remember

A good excuse is half the battle

It’s basically a Encyclopedia Britannica at this point
I heard you get 30% off if you buy the whole set

I've seen a lot on the dawg lately about Ngannou's excuses and I wasn't aware of any.

Can somebody give me the rundown on what his excuses are?
^This^

they could have fucked with him. for sure. i personally thought boxing had it set out to fuck with him. not in that way though.
i dont think he was poisoned to be clear.

it does make me wonder- what substances could be used- then go undetected that can fuck a fighter up on fight night. something you can put on their skin drop in their drink, add to their food.. is there actually a poison out there that would make you lethargic and tired and if there is why wouldnt francis get blood work done then and there or alert the doctor something was off? can you just mildly poison someone and its undetectable by them and a doctor or bloodwork?.

it does sound like the event wasn't set up in his favor but that is common. especially in boxing. look at jake paul- every event set in his favor and he cherry picking guys 35+

i also wouldnt doubt if the ufc trys to interfere with a fighters win potential psychologically if they have a lot invested in a particular fighter.

at the end of the day it doesn't matter though thats not provable none of it is. we will never know any truths. just what they want you to know.

most people expected francis to lose hard. its the same old loop. oh a guy who doesnt specialize in this sport decided to try it at the highest level and lost. how many ufc guys do you think if they entered a high level grappling compeition how they would do? bad. most bad. if not all would lose. we have seen this now too. some have pulled off a win but it was decent at best. the rest get tapped by guys who specialize in jiujitsu. i have see hobbyist mop the mats with known ufc fighters because all they do is focus on jiujitsu.
i'm all for a transition. like how alex came to mma. but to do these super fight things and these celebrity like matches is stupid. if francis said im going to go box. won a few good fights then we can start talking about him as a boxer and start pitting him vs contenders. otherwise i dont get how it makes sense. the business is full of exploitation. this is it at its highest level. all of the mma vs boxing events so far they put on you can consdier it exploiting these guys due to the pay rate in mma. sure they are getting a big pay day but at what cost.

I called the woman I was seeing immediately afterward and broke up with her. I'm used to bad news, that's why it's always so surprising when people are nice to me.

This. Ngannou is full off shit.

Such a unsavoury character.

yup... I remember "I cant afford training camp... the UFC won't pay me"... and yet three days earlier....

PFFFT If I was making payments on all those I wouldn't be able to afford a training camp either.....

Lol wtf.

You're a good dude though, so that's actually surprising to me that you're used to that sir.

I really don't understand this.
Yes, things go wrong during camp.
Fighters get hurt and brave on, etc.

It is not an excuse if he wins, but it may be a factor of why he lost!

And fighters are the ultimate competitors. They will list EVERYTHING they think may have affected him, and try to avoid it going forward.
And their brain are still processing the loss, finding things that maybe are not there... it's fucking natural!
It's the way all of us think!

So I never understood why people in here feel somehow superior to someone else who fought, lost and is searching for answers himself.
I'm around this area. I'm someone who gets very in my own head when things aren't perfect. Once there is a problem, I get hyper fixated on it and it's hard to ignore. To me, it's something that I can say, "I swear that's not my best and I will try to be perfect next time like I know how good I can be." But if not said correctly, can be interpreted by fans as "this loss doesn't count because.." Hell, even the fighter themselves, if they don't have the proper introspection, can interpret that thought pattern like that. I'm not an ultra competitive person, so I can't say how often or regular that is as an internalization.

But there is still a world for people to say, "This is why I'm asking you to please don't write me off yet" without needing criticism

Johny Hendricks having "the wrong training partners" for the Wonderboy fight

Weili Zhang blaming politics and racism after getting KO'ed by Rose (2 of about 25 excuses for that fight)
Okay so I am a Weili simp this is true but I do think the boo's in the Arena an toxic fans effected her. It shouldn't of, she's a professional so that's on her but you can see it in the walkout, she looked very shook, and she did much better in the second fight.

I mean fighters are delusional, but sometimes excuses are real. Like I wouldn't totally poo poo the idea that Francis's performance was effected by his son dying of all things.. does that mean if it didn't happen we would've beat Joshua in a boxing match? Definitely ha , but I don't know how that couldn't effect someone.

Some excuses are more valid then others I guess is all I'm saying
<Fedor23>
(If I like X fighter it's valid, if I don't it's invalid)

Gotta be a fan of Gaethje and Rampage (after the Forest fight) and BJ after he lost to Edgar, and Holm after Tate choked her unconscious...
no lame bullshit... just "They had a better night"/"I made mistakes" shows who's an adult and who isn't, that's for sure...

Boooooooooooooooooring.

I've seen you say worse than what I got yellowed for, shaddup lol.
Brother from another mother...... Another Yellow Card...
Whad u Do???????

you're like me with traffic tickets...

Worst excuse is when a fighter takes a short notice fight then loses and complains about not having a full camp ala Chad Mendes. Just don't take the fight if you don't feel ready. That shit is so lame.
