Fighters dental health

Ice Hockey players seem to have it worse than fighters
 
Fighters have no insurance, they get fixed up by the UFC for injuries they recieved the night of the fight but a regular health plan they do not. No family plan, no dental, no retirement, no future if you dont generate LOTs of mullah.
 
Nobody cares about teeth. You can literally just buy better teeth if you have an issue with them.

There was a politician on the daily show a few years ago.

Stewart was pushing him on health care costs and asked him why the American public couldn't get the same insurance deal that members of congress get.

The politician tried to push back by stating that members of congress didn't have dental.

idk if anybody from middle-class or less could afford dental care.

Congressman can afford it I guess tho.
 
A dental implant (fake tooth) is like $5,000 minimum in the US without insurance.

In the Twitter post below, the fighter can be seen holding his mouthguard. While the fighter appeared to have used the gear piece during his recent match up, it did not seem to do the fighter much good. Holding his mouthpiece, nine of the fighter’s teeth can be seen sitting inside the mouthguard.

Sucks to have a tooth knocked out. Root canals suck, dental implants suck too since they get biofilms and infect surrounding tissue eventually.
 
Surprisingly breaking teeth rarely happens. That said, there are fighters with missing teeth/tooth, but they wear dentures or temporary fake teeth so you can’t notice. Koscheck, Hughes, Hendo come to mind.
