Fighters besides Alistair have to take random drug test?

The test Overeem failed was given to the ENTIRE card, not just himself (I think it was UFC 146 and it was after a press conference).

But wasn't it given to them all because of Overeem? Overeem had a deal where he had to take a random test, so they gave him a random one when they had a publicity event. Have they ever done that before or ever plan on doing it again?

Man, so everyone else who failed drug tests knew they were coming and still failed?

Does anyone know if any other UFC fighter has been hit with a surprise drug test like the one Alistair failed?
Probably happens all the time, you just don't hear about it as it isn't usually newsworthy. Fuck, I've been subjected to random drug test once or twice in both MMA and olympic weightlifting and I'm not even competing, just a registered member.

The test that Overeem failed was a surprise drug test given by the NSAC at a press conference. Every fighter that was there was given the test.

Overeem wasn't given a license for his fight against Lesnar but rather a conditional license with the conditions being he pass several drug tests. He didn't and thus he was denied for full license when he was set to fight JDS.

Now that he's officially licensed, he won't be singled out for random drug tests but may still get randomly tested with others at group events.

A lot of people don't realize, that a 6:1 ratio gives people plenty of room to use Testosterone

Every fighter is given a drug test post event. But if there is cause for suspicion prior to an event, a fighter may be given random drug tests.

TS was asking about a surprise test so why the first sentence?
