Fighter with longest continous career?

Aouch ^^' I made my first account here in 2005 and I manage to miss this one?
I'll do a research to know what it is about, soonds funny.

The thread was asking for the most active fighters. Kos and Struve got several mentions because they were taking a lot of fights at the time. This was maybe 2009 or so right around when Kos stepped up on 10 days notice to fight Thiago Alves. Well anyway, someone comes in with a double post saying "LOL @ Kos and Struve. Fulton by FAR. XXX fights since 19XX." The guy after the double post wrote the same thing and it spiraled from there.

Thank you based Hound! :P

Bernard Hopkins has been boxing for 25 years. (Started in 1988) He is 49 years old and is defending the WBA and IBF titles in November. His opponent holds the WBO LHW title, so if he wins he will have all of the major titles unified in the LHW division.

No mention of Vitor?

What the fuck?

Not only did he start in 1996, but unlike the rest of the guys who have been mentioned, he is still ranked and still getting title shots.

No doubt along with Dan Henderson and Murilo Bustamante, Vitor Belfort is the goat of modern MMA. Having fought at 3 divisions, 4 continents, and 3 largest MMA organizaions in the world, he should be the real MMA legend.

5 years from now, he might be the fighter with the longest career.
