'Fighter beats father time'

Joe Warren, he hasn't doesn't much lately but he was already in his late 30's when he beat Dantas.

There are substances these days that literally are turning back father time. Hint: it's not Cher.

A very common but true saying in sports is, no one beats father time.

However, i would like to ask you your personal favourite instances where an older veteran beat a young up and comer, when a lot of people picked against them simplly due to age.

Couture Sylvia
Nogueira Schaub
Frankie Yair (fuck yeah, Frankie is the man!)
Henderson vs Lombard

Bonus points for it being from one of the lighter weight classes since it is more rare there.
There is a huge misconception with this that a lot of people have TS. If you are highly skilled and experienced with somewhat decent health, you can very much beat young guys. If that said younger guy is very talented and on a similar level as the older guy but has youth on his side? Then the old guy gets his ass beat. There is often a significant skill gap involved when the older folks win. A 40 year old BJJ black belt that wrestled in college and has a striking background is probably going to clean house against slobs in some local cage fight.

Lamas VS Knight
Werdum VS Cain
Waterson VS PVZ
Roger Gracie VS Buchecha at BJJ
D. Maia VS G. Nelson
Ortiz VS Bader

Raphael Assuncao beat Aljamain sterling this year. Assuncao is 35 with twice as many fights and a history of injuries. Didn't watch the fight so I really don't know the context, but still seems like a failed attempt to keep Aljamain high in the rankings after his loss to caraway.

Couture vs Liddell 1

Randy was going to retire before that already being a veteran exchamp x2 and really old haha
39 for chuck 1
And 40 for tito if im not mistaken.

The Tito fight too Randy even spanked him

I'll go with Jamie Varner vs Edson Barbosa. Barbosa was supposed to clean his clock. The old dog still had some fight in him though.

How about when Dan Henderson beat the crap out of Bisping at the age of 67 last year?

Sure, the decision went to Bisping but the fight went to Henderson.

Still don't know how the fuck Mark Coleman beat Stephan Bonnar

Came here expecting a Bellator announced bout for some freakshow fight. Leaving disappointed
