Popodopolus only got 2 weeks in jail, but still a felony on his record.
Trump will issue a pardon, I think. I wouldn't have a problem with it. "Lying to the FBI" is one of the biggest BS charges there is.

So people should be able to lie to the FBI with no fear of prosecution?

Lol

Yeah people should be able to lie to the FBI and any other law enforcement body without consequences.

Same goes for lying in a court of law or Congress

I didn't mean it like that. I said FBI can play got you games and getting misstatements and then it's their word vs your word and your word will always will be worth less than theirs. It can be minor thing, but they can try and leverage that against you to get information they really seek. And when you don't play along, you'll get charged with infamous "lying to the gubment official". It's a shady tactic.

FBI can lie to you, but you can't lie to them. And then their word is worth more than yours in court.

The FBI has to prove you knowingly lied to them. There are no "gotcha games" about misstatements.

These are charges for lying to investigators in an attempt to hinder their investigations.

I love the term gotcha games, I think Palin first coined it because she was not bright enough to understand what was being asked of her.

He's charging people with making mistatements and tax evasion. That's called scraping the bottom of the barrel. Prosecutors do that when they have nothing else to work with. You take any person, and you can probably charge them with tax evasion and if you're stupid enough to talk to the FBI, they'll say you lied in their 303 and then it's their word vs theirs. It's an absolute joke of a charge, but their very favorite weapon.

Never talk to FBI or prosecutors without a lawyer present and best to always remain quiet.

Ducking the question, noted.

^^^ perfect example of just how delusional liberals are. Literally comparing trump to mob bosses.

<{hughesimpress}>

A. He built the largest concrete building in NYC when the Genovese family ran every oz of concrete poured in NYC, and all the unions.

B. He is acting like a mob boss, and has filled his cabinet and organization with liars, thieves, backstabbers and crooks.

And how do you think they do that? LOL
They'll site their shitty 302 that will say that you said this, when you really didn't say it like they wrote it down. It's total sham. That's why they didn't use tape recorders in their interviews for goodpart of a century because it was a very useful tactic to scare people into charging them with "Lying to the FBI". Ask any lawyer that practiced federal law.

Eric probably a vampire Trump is trying to stir shit up with kellyane and George Conways marriage. Such good people

Titled "Robert Mueller is Hot On Trump's Tail".

My reaction:
<DontBelieve1>

The problem with this investigation, it dragged on too long and netted completely unrelated charges. Typical gestapo tactic- say "this and this" or you'll be charged with this. "Lying" to FBI is their favorite, which is why you don't ever talk to FBI. Or if you open your mouth, have a tape recorder because they won't conduct interview while recorded, but I think that policy has since been reversed. I have to verify.

I'm for one am not surprised that it went this route based on Mueller's past "body of work".

Have you ever read about the Starr investigation?
Let's give it a least that long and at least that many unrelated charges, hmm?
