I think is just solidifies that fact. He was nearly KO'd twice in the first round against a debuter, on short notice, who kept his hands down the whole fight, and looked a weight class smaller. Tony has great offense, but jesus his striking defense sucks. I don't understand his smug attitude, saying things like "No one wants to fight me." Dude Khabib would have eaten you alive tonight. His 8 fight winning streak has only one worthy guy being Barboza, who he blatantly illegally upkicked him when the fight wasn't going his way.

Most padded record in the division.

99% will never be champ. dudes exciting as fuck

Yeah he was rocked. He still is dangerous as hell even when rocked, and it showed.

How can you be sure he will never be champion? Fucking Michael Bisping is a champion, you idiot. Eddie Alvarez is the champion right now and he isn't that good either, El Cucuy would beat him. Also, he is the only one with a guard that can cause troubles to Khabib.

He looked great
And so did Vannata

His sturiking defense is a big problem against the Eddies and RDAs of the world.

Vannata had nothing to lose and gave it his all in round 1. Ferg adjusted and dominated round 2.

I had a lot invested into him but you're right, he looked pretty bad

anyone who gets a titleshot can be champ...anyone...so if he gets that title shot he's got a chance

Ferg can and will beat that Russian guy who barely fights

No, he'll probably never be champ, but that's okay. He's still a helluva fighter and is always exciting. Belt or no belt, I'll always be down to watch a guy like that fight.

Lando just caught him with some weird shit. Tony fucked him up and dominated once he recovered.

He wasn't being efficient with his energy in the first round.

Tony is very reckless but his recovery & scrambles are very I repeat very crafty. Tony just comes up with shit outta nowhere. Maybe the most dynamic fighter at lw but again very reckless.

I'd say khabib wreaks him but that's probably what Tony wants him to think. Having said that, I think Tony took a step back tonight and probably has another fight in front of him before a TS

You know ...we all said the same thing about eddie ...heck i even counted out rda against pettis

Khabib hardly ever fights and Alvarez is very beatable. Tony has a good of a shot as any
