Female Bodybuilder dies at 20 on camera

That's what arnold said, I never knew if it was actually true. Of course, I hope he lives forever.

I don't know what the drugs mess up but we do know from the many, many heartattacks that it does something to that organ.

In many cases, it's an addiction just like any other and it's not really looked at that way, and with addiction, it's the same, you tell someone till you're blue in the face and they won't listen. They also lie and deny if not get outright defensive and point their finger at you for trying to help them. It is their right to do.

I believe Arnold's mother died of a similar heart condition, so it could indeed be genetic. There's no doubt that overuse of PED's would exacerbate a pre-existing health condition, however.

Did you read it?

Justin Mihaly, who was Vance's coach, said she was taking two "extremely hazardous" substances to improve her physique, without his knowledge or her family's.

"Recently, her health had become quite concerning and now we know why, now we have the answers,"
From that.....Sounds to me like it might have been Trenbolone.
Something like that. I think in situations like this , to save the family from some kind of stigma etc they cover up the real tox screen and agree to publicize something like "extreme dehydration " as the principal C.O.D.

I don't KNOW if this is what happened in this case and respect to the lady who died but to die of dehydration OUT of competition???
Doesn't sound very plausible to me at all. Why dehydration yourself to an extreme degree when you're not even in a comp??

she died in her hotel room supposedly. this ain’t her video
Yea, that video sucks. I think it's AI with the weird monotone voice. Sucks how you can't always tell what was made by a real person. Maybe there'll be a future law that requires a small logo on all AI pictures and videos.

Her heart gave out from being way too dehydrated. The whole time I was thinking it was gonna be because of roids.
I think 20 is too young to die from roids unless they have a previous heart issues. Roids deaths are usually from enlarged hearts which takes years of abuse to develop.
But caffeine and severe weight cutting will do it. Imagine some of those guys making weight in the UFC. Then loading themselves with caffeine so they can perform on stage. (Which they already abuse caffeine for their workouts and weight cuts)

Arnold was born with a bad heart.
The peds tend to enlarge organs in random fashions and changes their shapes. Their hearts get all twisted up and crushed in their own chest which leads to parts dying or clogged
I'm just summarizing in laymen's terms.
Long term usage screws with brain which messes up hormones, serotonin, dopamine, anti inflammatory responses.
Arnold tended to cycle off and on and only was using "four times" what a normal body would have or use.
Guys like Ronnie, Yates, cutler were pushing "16-32 times" never really getting off and other insane crap like extreme dehydration and micro synthol injections.
The other issue with enlarged hearts is the don’t expand as well. The walls are thick and they actually struggle to pump compared to a normal heart that has full range of expansion. That ends up seriously stressing the heart over time.

checks out.

I was speaking to Alex Arthur one time at the gym. He said he drank a lot of coffee during training camps. The only side-effect it had was to give him a bad dose of the shits.

"I'd be sparring, and as soon as the round ended I'd have to jump out of the ring and run to the toilet. Back in the ring for the next round of sparring, then run back to the toilet again.

I never had a problem making weight for a fight". :)

you think so Dr. Freud?

Ya, it's very sad, people do have a constitutional right to destroy themselves. It's sad, no doubt.

This wasn't happening nearly as much before everyone had a camera on them.
I have to agree the advent of ubiquitous camera-phones is not healthy or a good thing generally. People get obsessed by IMAGE and NARCISSISM and the silly hourly documenting of their lives which is just pathetic IMHO.

Some things have really gone downhill in the last 15years regarding excessive internet and phone use.

She doesn't look like a heavy steroid user and generally women in the bodybuilding world aren't falling dead from steroids, for a young healthy woman to develop a serious health issue from steroid usage you'd blatantly see the issues way before it becomes a health issue.

I'd go with diuretics and stimulates, she might have been using DNP as well......

Probably a pre-existing undiagnosed heart condition.

As somebody who has been weightlifting for over 23 years now, bodybuilding can bring out the worst in people who have body dysmorphia issues. Seen so many dumb beliefs. Seen people go to the extremes just because

Her death (rip) was probably a lot of factors that added up over time. Extreme diets, multiple cycles, probably using cuttings agents.
