I guess y'all are forgetting about the fight before, where Ruziboev starched Ferreira's ass in like the first minute of Round 1.

Last night's fight was a can-of-cans "gimme" fight, seeing as Hawes got KO'd his last 4 out of 5, all in Round 1.

I do think Ferreira has potential, but he's nowhere near ready for Khamzat at this point, based on the joke "fight" last night.

Hawes is chinnier than Walker.

Yeah, Ruziboev slaughtered him.

Literally all it took was to catch a leg kick and all that balance was nowhere to be seen.

I don't give a shit about Khamzat's career aspirations as much as I care for meritocracy in the sport, followed by good fights. I'm over the Khamzat hype job, when he fights, he fights. I hope he gets an eventual shot and gets brutally KTFO to become the new shadface so that we can get rid of 95% of his nuthuggers.

Meritocracy means Khamzat should face someone ranked next. This guy is an unranked bum who beat a guy who had been KOd in 3/4 fights.

Ruziboev is a lanky, giant-for-the-weight veteran who caught a young kid with no experience.

I think he would beat Ferreira 15/20 times.

Ferreira is too bulky (thereby small) for the weight, IMO.

Brunno looked slow and laboured. Yes the takedown trips were nice and he had decent control but other than that I don’t see what he has for Khamzat, who is way, way faster.

When I saw Bruno Hulk smash him, I knew Bruno had serious power.

After last night, watching him take down Phil Hawes (a very good wrestler), I am even more convinced.

He is a strong grappler with heavy hands and he throws to kill.

Would love to see Bruno fight Paulo Costa one day

Anyone who has a brain knows Robocop has 0 chin. Nobody should have been surprised when Bruno flatlined him. Dude gets knocked out in every loss and badly rocked in several of his wins. Robocop is big, strong, aggressive and pretty skilled but his defense and chin are a liability vs fucking Lightweights.
