Cain lost to Werdum about the same
age didn’t he? Fighters who fight more and start younger burn out faster. Especially competing in two sports. Overeem is one of the few crazy exceptions.

Everyone ranks him top 5 P4p and even his biggest fans could be mad at him being ranked by some on the lower end of the 5.

Everyone's prime is different, but not many are still in it after 32 fights, especially after you get Randleplexed and have some wars.

Muay thai guys get washed out fast if they start early.

He had like 35 pro fights at that time. Ring age != Chronological age
