Really? How the fuck come would’ve fedor knocked arona with gnp when Arona spent 90 of the fight on top... the fight should’ve never went to the 3rd round, fedor only had 2 sorry ass ankle locks attemp in the whole 2 rounds, that’s what got him the 3rd.

Rings was currupted as fuck, trying to give a push to fedor.

How many legit wrestlers has he faced? Fedor hasn't faced that many great wrestlers so I don't see him being able to stop chaels takedowns. I'm laying a prediction right here: Chael get's 1 take down per round. Now, the problem though....is I still see fedor winning. Fedor has good submissions and if chael gets caught by a shot early then it's going to be a short night. Chael also has suspect submission defense

Trying to give a push to Fedor? Based on what? He was an unknown 3-0 Russian. LMAO.

Fedor could have GnPd Arona every time he stuffed his takedowns. He was also on top of Arona in every round for periods of time where he could have GnPd him but instead went for those foot locks because GnP to the body wasnt enough.

Why didnt Arona try to run it back with Fedor in Pride when he was offered a rematch? Because Fedor would have punched his head into the mat.

80% stuffed yet spent 90% of the fight on top.. geek my ass, under ibjjf rules fedor might have even gotten a better case, since it’s Mma top position counts for something, sissy ass ankle locks do not.

Yea but Fedor fought vert 1 dimensional wrestlers who only trained wreatling strictlt at Hammerhouse.

He did beat Lindland who was a small MW and where Fedor still needed to hold the rope to avoid being taken down.

Then we have the Hendo fight where Fedor was KO'd after Hendo easily slipped out of bottom.

We also have the Big Foot fight where Fedor show cases a very weak bottom game.

Nothings certain, i do favor Fedor, but i dont think we can guarantee an easy win for Fedor by basing it off of anything from his past.

I feel like Chael will decision him or get KO'd in the process

Yes, not effectivley mind you, but Babalu was not a high caliber wrestler, i'd take any Div. 1 American wrestler over the brazilian Olympic team.

It´s coz you didnt watch the fight, Im afraid...

Babalu was a HW in that fight, close to 230 Lbs IIRC.

On a sidenote 1: makes no sense to compare here a Brazilian Olympic team Wrestler to a Div. 1 American wrestler, since we´re talkin´about Fedor & his skillset.

Would be more relevant to compare a samboist to a Brazilian Olympic team Wrestler imo...

On a sidenote 2: Fedor won by decision, but was actually pretty close, more bodyshots & TDs probably influenced them judges, coz Babalu´s sub attempts were more legit than Fedor´s...

Babalu would feast on a one-dimensional wrestler like Sonnen, with laughable sub defence... back in the days, Babalu had so many tools on the ground, so many legit threats in his submission arsenal...would be a sparring contest.

I suggest you go watch Babalu´s earlier fights...
