Fedor Emelianenko vs. Kevin Randleman

Randleman was an absolute animal you didn't get much respect for beating but if he left your brains splattered all over the canvas nobody was surprised either which made him a high risk low reward fight. Rampage Jackson to this day says the hardest punch he's ever felt was a left hook from Randleman. So you have an Olympic level wrestler/ super athlete who was able to pick up a 240lb man and slam him on his neck from nearly 8 feet in the air plus the power in both hands to KO someone if they weren't careful.

The night Fedor fought Randleman, Kevin KOd Mirko Cro Cop a month prior with the same left hook and was bringing that momentum and confidence into his fight with Fedor and nearly beat Fedor which means he nearly beat a prime Mirko and prime Fedor in the span of a month and a half which is WILD to even think about. No doubt it was a very dangerous, high risk- low reward fight against an animal with supreme confidence and wild card atheltics to win a fight brutally. One of Fedors super underrated wins. I'd say Fedors win over Randleman was similar to Randy's win over Gonzaga in terms of the momentum he had coming into that fight.

Randleman had zero ground game. Era of specialists. Neither would be top 10 today, but entertaining fight nonetheless.

Imagine Randleman with modern training, though.

And he'd be at MW too. Let's not forget that Randleman was 5'9 max and admitted that PRIDE forced him to move to HW.

Two of my favourite fighters in possibly the sport's most legendary fight.

He'd get usada'd pretty hard.

I mean, that pretty much already happened to him.

And i loved Big Kev.

Indeed , no way that man was jacked and ripped like that naturally at 5’9.

Going off memory, I don’t think it was the same night.

Legendary

Mere humans would die. Fedor did not even flinch

100%

old guys like us get accused of wearing rose tinted glasses (and maybe that’s true to an extent), but one thing that Wikipedia can’t grasp is the aura he had.

when was the last time someone was on this planet that the entire community thought NOBODY could beat.

it’s Fedor, and here we are 10+ years after the fact still admiring.

Coleman with headbutts seemed unstoppable for a while. But Fedor was in a league of his own

this is the SLAM of the century! I mean Both, Fedor's and Kevin's weights went straight into his neck! Holly fuck it's a miracle Fedor isn't confined to the wheelchair. RIP Legend KR!
Not only that. Add in the centrifical whiplash effect for damage multiplier
