Fedor Emelianenko vs. Kevin Randleman

A slam with evil intentions.

Does show why in so many sports a throw is considered the end of the fight....
On any surface other than a soft mat, Randleman won that fight and Fedor is KO'd, hospitalized or worse....

Randleman was a good guy in general but that slam was just brutal.
Fedor was asked in an interview if he had ever had the chance to so a similar move to an opponent and he said "I have had the opportunity, but not the desire to do such a move".

I remember Fedor talking about the moment in the fight as he was being suplexed by Randleman while flying in the air, Fedor said he realized he was about to be dropped on his head so he intentionally relaxed all the muscles in his neck to avoid breaking it.

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.....

Watched it live as possible in America.
I ordered those ppvs 2 months ahead of time.

It was like “How is anybody going to beat this guy??” Really. He was the bmotp. It changed, but fedor was the last clear one.
I watched it live with Dish network. I thought I was watching an unstoppable god fight in fedor. Insane.

this is the SLAM of the century! I mean Both, Fedor's and Kevin's weights went straight into his neck! Holly fuck it's a miracle Fedor isn't confined to the wheelchair. RIP Legend KR!

Let that go Randleman.... words of wisdom by Rampage

“Judo doesn’t translate well to mma.”

Except when the goat uses a textbook breakfall to survive one of the best slams ever.
I mean anyone who still says that is a fuckin moron

Randleman had zero ground game. Era of specialists. Neither would be top 10 today, but entertaining fight nonetheless.

Different eras, different ways to do things

If Randleman was still alive and an MMA fighter in 2021, he would be a more well-rounded fighter because he would train the way fighters train these days.

Imagine knowing you're gonna get mega slammed on your head and still being able to relax...

W Randleman it was more mental.

He would just revert to what he knew best, regardless of what he was training in. He trained w Saul Soliz and was destroying people w his hands whenever he hit them, but he just abandoned it and stopped going to him after the loss to Rampage. Honestly that fight was competitive, and he should have stuck with it but Just couldnt get out of the wrestler mentality.

Man, Randleman was the closest to beating Fedor imo out of all of Fedor's fights, he was a beast.

although Fujita almost KO'ed Fedor.
