Lmao same. When hendo vs fedor started fedor got backed up by a bomb and ate a superman punch. Then some clinching. Fedor then dropped Hendo (hendo said back in 2011 fedor hit harder then anyone he had faced) went for the kill and got clocked by the h bomb. Herb Dean with his usual quick trigger/ignored back of the head bombs (inconsistent ref)

Vs arlovski fedor slipped every head shot thrown his way. Got kicked in the legs a few times. Arlovski was probably ahead because he was throwin more but he got over confident and got rekt

Fedor was extremely fast twitch which was the biggest factor in his success during the pride era. He was literally the fastest heavyweight, probably faster than most LHW's as well.

Well that's the thing; you are insinuating that you hold a lot of experience training so where is your training footage? I'm not saying I'm a striking genius, but it doesn't take a striking genius to see that Fedor's striking was sloppy and wild.

I also never said that western boxing is the only way to go, but it's certainly been the most successful. Please, shut the hell up kid and go back to crying in your corner.
 
So does this end the strikers argument for MMA. You can be the best striker in the world, but you are always gonna worry about the takedown. Fedor's striking was all speed and power, but guys were tenative against him because of the ground game.

He could also knock your head off.
 
Use the overhand leaping in, but the hook feels wrong to me.

Still maybe could try it out for fun.
 
His striking wasn't the "cleanest" like straight rights and jabs, but he was so successful that its hard to argue against.

Who gives a shit he didn't sign for the UFC so his striking technique shouldn't be in a thread topic in the UFC forum. It belongs in MMA Worldwide where most of the other Fedor threads have been shipped to.

Seeing Fedor continually pop up in the UFC Forum is just a constant reminder that he ducked the UFC AGAIN and it's depressing, it really is. I am bummed.

Good for him he's making money but I was SOOO looking forward to seeing him in the UFC, so many great matchups....ugh...

I think you're too dumb to understand that you're striking has to be sharper in boxing not to get KTFO and humiliated when sparring with a HW of such high level.

What can you expect from a noob with 50k posts in a year who has never trained and doesnt know how to throw a punch in real life? :)
