I actually think it’s going to be a Mitrione rematch that they announce. And I’m down for that. Obviously I’d rather it be JDS, or Overeem. But if I had to bet, I’d bet on a Mitrione rematch.Give him Bigfoot and then mitrione

Mitrione is fighting Fortune on the mid July card, ao I doubt he is alreasy scheduled to fight Fedor already.I actually think it’s going to be a Mitrione rematch that they announce. Yeah that would be awful. Mitrione is a winnable fight for Fedor though, and has declined quite a bit since 2017 imo. Fedor losing to anyone in Russia would be horrifying. Would just be sad to see.I kinda hope the last note of his career isn't going 0-2 against Matt Mitrione.
Yeah I thought about that too. I would love for there to be some announcement that Bellator is co-promoting with GLORY to do an Overeem fight, or secretly signed JDS, or whatever. I just don’t know how likely that is. Coker has hinted several times that Fedor is interested in “certain rematches,” and clearly it couldn’t be Werdum or Hendo if they go the rematch route, Bigfoot is technically possible but unlikely, and Bader is in the LHW GP.Mitrione is fighting Fortune on the mid July card, ao I doubt he is alreasy scheduled to fight Fedor already.

I suppose they could just give him a Bellator name like Kongo or something. I’m crossing my fingers for JDS or Reem, but if I had to bet money on what the announcement would be, I’d bet on a Mitrione rematch. We shall see.
Toss up fights to me. Overeem looked totally shot to shit last time we saw him—although I imagine he’s increased his horsemeat intake since leaving the UFC, so who knows. JDS is pretty shot too. Chin is getting bad, movement is not what it used to be. Like most of Fedor’s fights these days, whoever lands first sends the other to the shadow realm. I’d expect JDS or Overeem to be the betting favorites though.Overeem and JDS would beat the shit out of him at this point imo, I really hope it's neither of them. They've both been competing at top 10 UFC level.

I would expect JDS on a cycle too. No reason not to.Toss up fights to me. Despite my Fedor fanboy-ness, I do get your point. I think your point is more relevant with Reem than JDS. JDS may have been fighting better competition, but he wasn’t beating them, and in fact was finished by strikes in each of his 4 straight losses. It’s been 2 years since he had a win, and I don’t think particularly highly of the fighters he’s beaten tbh. One could make the point that Fedor was finished by worse fighters, but that’s kind of a mixed bag. Imho, 2018-2019 Bader would easily be top 10 in the UFC HW division, probably close to top 5. Would beat Daukaus, Sakai, and Tybura I think. Mitrione is not quite that good—would be somewhere in the top 15, and that was just a weird fight. But anyway, we’ll see. We’ll see who the opponent is, but Fedor will almost surely be the dog in any fight they announce. They've both been fighting high level competition though. Yes JDS has been getting finished, but against the likes of Gane, Rozenstruik etc.
Excuse me sir, JDS is an honorable man, and his USADA violation was clearly a mistake on USADA’s part.I would expect JDS on a cycle too. No reason not to.
A fat LHW... isn’t that basically what Fedor was his whole career??? Yet dominated HW for 10+ years??
Keep hating
I'd love it to be against someone like Wandy, Tito, Shogun or the spider. One of the legends from Fedor's own era who he hasn't already fought.

Don't really want to see him fight anymore after all the damage he's taken recently, and that's coming from someone who will openly say that Fedor is my favorite fighter of all time and the GOAT of MMA in my opinion. Even if it's just can crushing I'll get nervous.
