Here’s my biggest bitch. Even the active line shooters use handguns more than rifles yet rifles are currently under fire (pun intended) and biden et al want to ban them despite them being used only 16 times in 2023. Meanwhile, they flee from declaring mass shootings as such an issue because it has been shown to not be the lone racist white male shooter in most instances.

If you told me there was a lone gunman that shot up a school or a hospital, I would assume it was a white male but I would also know those are more rare than the two groups or gangs get into a fight and a few shooters open up on each other and hit multiple people. Those shooters are often more prone to melanin but the left doesn’t like to single out those shootings or comment much on them or the fact that they most always use handguns because they are more concealable.

I am just sick of the narrative by the left that it is always a white male using a rifle. They don’t want to acknowledge when a juneteenth block party leaves five or six dead and dozens injured

I remember when the Las Vegas shooting happened they tried to hide that the shooter was a left winger who hated trump and guns, his wife was also a POC. He also had converted to Islam. Theories claimed he did the shooting to mock how easy it was to get ahold of ARs then shot up a bunch of right wingers

Over half of mass shooter events involve a past or present intimate partner. Someone in my family was recently murdered via domestic violence but didn't qualify as a mass shooting because only two people were killed. .

This right here is the true problem, the overall decline of mental health. Damn near every study on the matter I've seen says that people are way more anxious, stressed, and in general feel isolated for some reason.

Guns are just a tool. If I were to take a gun in place hand it to someone here I'd be willing to bet no schools will be shot up. But in the hands of someone that's unwell that's when it becomes a problem.

If we as a country are serious about this we should tackle this problem head on at its core and that's mental health. How? Beats the hell out of me. But something needs to be done.

Why have these types of shootings become so common? The firearms commonly used have more or less been available for decades. Are we more depressed today than 35 years ago?
