Interest in this story rapidly fading...

Seriously? It was in every newspaper today, and on the Scroll Bar for both BBC and Sky News.

This shit ain't going away soon. No matter how much Hilary supporters might wish otherwise.

Loretta Lynch is becoming more and more implicated in whatever all this means. The DOJ has tried to protect Hillary every inch of the way and still is. They will destroy Comey if possible.

I see people voting for the policies they want, everything else be damned. I've maintained that short of being dragged away in cuffs, Hillary wins this. I still believe it.

Could not agree more. This is still Hilary's to lose. And short of dying or being arrested, she won't lose.

Whether you support Hilary or Trump, one thing everyone can agree on: this has been the most toxic and ugly election in American history.

I have to echo blondie's sentiment.

How stupid are American democrats?

At least she has some integrity.

I can't believe how people are sticking with Cancerous Hillary.

Washington is clearly a cesspool and people want more of the same. They don;t care that she likely committed treason. What will it take?

Well someone did say this thread was an alt-right organization of gay sex and that this isn't even a story

the good news there is it looks like this is much bigger than Comey now

I cant wait for it to be over
For fuck sake

I think they probably don't want an economic policy that is going to explode the deficit, a social policy that doesn't involve putting Muslims on a register, or a policing policy that involves the introduction of (unconstitutional) stop and frisk nationwide.

It's almost like they don't want America to be great again..

:(

to bad HBO or whoever was making the primary documentary isn't still running, covering the insides of both campaigns (not like they would let anyone inside of hillary's but I would pay to see that shit)

imagine Huma cried when she found out hillary had to carry her own bag, she must be on suicide watch now

Hey Hans
Did you see my last proposal in the bet thread?

It wouldn't be the first time we've seen last second events that changed an election.

Whispers of "payback" are being directed at Hillary Clinton after she decried as "unprecedented" the surprise FBI revival of its probe of her email scandal.

That's because 24 years ago, as former President George H.W. Bush was surging back against challenger Bill Clinton, a special prosecutor raised new charges against Bush in the Iran-Contra probe, prompting Clinton to claim he was running against a "culture of corruption."

Many Republicans claimed that the indictment made by special prosecutor Lawrence Walsh against former Reagan-era Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger the weekend before the 1992 election cost Bush a second term. The indictment, later thrown out, challenged Bush's claim that he did not know about a controversial arms-for-hostages deal that dogged the Reagan-Bush administration.

Sure, but few people would claim Walsh's charges weren't political. Why else throw the document relating to Bush in there?

As has been stated though, the FBI doesn't usually publicly comment on the status of their investigations.
Since the only thing to report was pursuing a warrant for access to the emails under the previous investigation, it's hard to see it as anything but political at this time.
There's no legal justification for it. There's no specific material they are able to release or comment on. There's not even a timeline.
So why the letter and announcement to congress (let alone the letter justifying his actions to his underlings)? Hard to see it as anything but politics, whether on the national scale or institutional.

Yea I don't know why he said something like this knowing it would effect the election. The only things that make sense is that 1. he was pressured by his associates or 2. the emails are damaging and by releasing the info now it will sort of keep the FBI in the clear when they indict her. Otherwise if she wins the election and then they say something it will make them look like they hid it until Clinton got elected president. Maybe a combination of the two.

I have to admit to a certain morbid fascination. It's like watching the biggest car crash in the world...
I generally like to keep things light and have had a lot of fun but honest to god i'm ready for a shower

Clinton should be in jail. She BARELY got off the hook, and now there is seemingly more evidence. I don't see how he couldn't have said something. If there is more evidence at all, this is likely the end for Clinton, and if you announced the reopening of her investigation after shes elected and she gets impeached that is as bad of a look as there is

Classic Trump in this clip. Talks about how nothing gets done in our government because they are sitting around sending 650,000 e-mails, talks about Weiner being a sleaze and nobody ever thought we would be thanking him, rigged system, a revolt in the F.B.I., calls Hillary's reappoinment of Loretta Lynch a bribe. The bonus is Mika looking sad.
