I know Conor is from Dublin, but it doesn't get any more ruthless than Northern Ireland. "This ain't Ireland " is a pretty dumb statement when making threats about guns.

The logical conclusion of your post is that in Ireland you don't toy with top level criminals or their subculture minions. Yet Conor idolized a Mexican drug lord and then talked shit about the subculture which is connected to him.

Apparently, your conclusion is wrong. You can do this kinda shit in Ireland. You can talk shit about the IRA's supporting subculture or at least Conor's behavior signifies that.
