I am not sure if they took Indians. But the Waffen-SS had foreign divisions. First from Scandinavia.
And later in the war they even had Ukraining and other eastern Europeans in the "Allgemeine-SS".
But that's all a bit different from the original SS. Who wereHitler's bodyguards original only 10.
You had to be legit "Aryan" to join them. They wouldn't have taken Eastern Europeans.
But they took other western Europeans. The last SS division defending the Fuehrer Bunker were actually french guys.

That's probably why we lost it :-)

The French definitely got the short stick when it comes to military history.
They went from dominating Europe winning countless battles and wars.
To be known as a surrender nation.
All just because they lost against the Russian Winter, The Blitzkrieg, and Vietnamese farmers.
It not really a shame to lose against any of those guys but they are still known as the White Flag guys from now on.

i do like reading the posts, from any political perspective, of the foreign posters here. Even having traveled alot in my life and lived overseas in multiple locations, it is hard to completely shed the American exceptionalism when you're pervasively surrounded by it. I work on a Marine base at that, so it's exacerbated further

For example, if i hadn't served w/ many Canadians in Afghanistan and was only exposed to what the media mentions, i'd likely think alot more people than IRL were fans of Trudeau or supported those policies. This subforum shows, that even among the liberal posters up north that is not really the case. Assuming people are not lying about their locales, and as corny as it sounds, this is one of the few outlets I frequent that you have the opportunity to frequently converse w/ foreign nationals w/o having to travel or actively seek them out

In their favor, they barely missed the cutoff to be ID'd as genocidal monsters. Napoleon is remembered as this cute little debonair dude, instead of a brutal genocidal dictator. He was like a proto Hitler who missed his time to shine.

The French largely managed to suppress much of their history and portray it in shiny happy form, where they were always the good guys.

I'm actually the most educated and best poster, so I could easily write the best comments if I wanted to.
But I prefer to post basic, unthoughtfull and repetitive answers. I simply don't want to become too successful, just like world-renowned scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson says 'with success comes haterzz'. :cool:

The distinction is that the upward distribution is by voluntary means and with results of mutual benefit. Jack is using double speak to conflate force redistribution, which is what compulsory funded monopolies do with what entrepreneurs do who come up with a great product.
