I'm not on the bandwagon but Conor is great for the UFC. Like Rousey (who I don't like at all), he brings many more viewers and money to everyone. He has big power and he beat Nate up good right up until we found out he has only an OK chin and sucks on the ground. I have no idea why he went for the takedown. He was stunned but seemed to recover and with a min left in the round should have stayed on his feet and moved .
Some say feeding him cans. Aldo was a dominant champ and while they didn't really get a chance to fight its because he caught Aldo and KO'ed him. Connor is young but he has big holes and he doesn't have the chin to get him out of trouble if he gets caught. Frankie deserves a shot. He's been held up too long. Aldo got KO'ed, he can fight someone else or sit if he refuses.
Conor needs a few defenses at 145 then he can move up.
I dislike the diaz brothers, especially Nate but mad props for being a tough SOB. He took some bombs and looked to be outclassed but once he tagged Conor and stunned him, he pounced and found some reserve he didn't look like he would have. They will fight again at 155 I'm sure . Hopefully , conor finds a better team if he wants to make a run at 155.

Conor was exposed for a mediocre chin and little ground game. He could beat Lawlor if Lawlor couldn't take his punch but Nate ate them so I imagine Lawlor would and he hits a lot harder than Nate. Conor is super athletic and a move to tristar and some GSP type of grappling training might be in order.
