Famous Celebrities who do MMA / BJJ

I doubt the legitimacy of some of these guys ranks. Ashton Kutcher a black belt?...seriously dude?

I've always heard that Ed O'Neil and Guy Ritchie were pretty legit but who knows.

Ed O'Neill's is legit. Like others have said, most or all of these guys aren't at a level where they would compete in the ADCC or anything, but neither are 99% of other black belts, McDojo or otherwise.

Kutcher has a black belt in Judo, what fad is he following??

So what you get marks on your face, they get scrapes and bruising while filming they dont have to recast. For a sensitive role, i am sure they simply dont train for that period of time or only do private lessons. I really doubt they are treated any more special at their gyms than ANYONE that may or may not want to roll a certain way. There are normal everyday guys that train but dont roll or spar etc. You dont know anything and you really sound like a moron.

This can't be a serious comment, are you really this fucking stupid?

1) It is well known among the BJJ community that Gracies school in LA is making a ton of money by catering to celebs & wealthy. And they REALLY cater to the Hollywood and rich crowd, it's very pansy. It's great business and they spent years if not decades getting it to that level.

2) Kutcher does not have a BB in JUDO, he has never done JUDO, you fucking twat. He "trains" at the Gracie BJJ and has a bullshit blackbelt. This, by way, brings even more exposure to Gracies school in LA.

3) This has been documented on tape, via TV specials, which actually were filmed seriously, yet if you have actual MMA/grappling/striking training & experience, you notice what a joke it is when you watch

4) I actually knew good trainers, plain fitness & specialty that have either trained or interviewed high profile celebrity clients (Jay-Z being one of them). There is a lot of pampering going and a lot of ego. Because vast majority of celebs have their ego up their asses, after all, they don't view themselves as regular people. Morons like you sure don't look at them as regular people.

5) Go ask any high profile client agent if they would be just fine with their movie/music star client doing a physical activity that has a significant risk of injury and marks to the face. See what they say. Then realize just how dumb you are. That shit is serious business and agents oversee as much of their clients life as they can, cause it's all about that dollar.

Yeah but you're just assuming things and hating on celebs.
Celebs are people like anybody else, they can train and achieve things too.
Don't be mad.

No it's a fact. Aside from the hardcores like Ed O'Neil, it's pansy wansy bullshit and it's well known and easily observed, if you have a clue.

Well known by people who wants celebs to only have non legit belt, yeah.
I don't see why you can't accept that celebs can train too.
People are weird. A sort of jealousy incredible

Shorter then average midget, dumber then average retard.

More famous then average celebrity.

This doesn't really constitute "UFC Discussion", does it?

Jose Canseco tried MMA for a while, here's him fighting Hong Man Choi for HDNet

Ottavia Bourdain, Anthony Bourdain's wife and often featured on his shows, is a Blue Belt under Renzo and has been training MMA as well.

The entire Rio de Janeiro episode of No Reservations revolved around her trip to Rio to compete in her first BJJ tournament (link)
