Fallout TV Series (Premieres April 11)

He’s a really good actor. But I just can’t imagine a tv show based on a video game can be any good. I tried to watch The Witcher. That shit bored the hell out of me. I can’t think of one movie based on a video game that was any good. Doom was mediocre at best. And that’s because it was nothing like I remember the video game being. And probably also because Doom the game was made at a time when you didn’t really need much of a plot for games, so they were able to take a lot of artistic license.

Well now there's The Last of Us, Arcane, Castevania.

Also Fallout works because it's the setting/lore that makes the series great, you can drop a new character in any part of the FO universe with an original story and it can work...eg not tied to an established character arc.

Now we are cooking! Most looking forward TV/movie of 2024 for me. Been fallowing this project for years since it got rumored / announced.

Looks good visually, actors can't be that bad and we have some really talented ones and charismatic (Walton) so we only need a solid script and off to the races.

More Person of Interest writing then whatever Westworld was. A little scared of Lisa Joy's influence that also made her husband be off game and wasted years at HBO.
