Right so Tim Sylviais a greater HW than Werdum? Title defenses mean Jack shit in all time rankings. Werdum has beat Cain, Reem, Fedor, Big Nog, Hunt, and on and on. He's clearly a top 5 HW and probably #3 behind Fedor and Nog. Who combined have 0 Ufc title defenses

Those are your words not mine(regarding Sylvia). When considering all-time greats, however, title defenses DO matter, regardless of you assertions. Would people consider A. Silva an all-time great if he hadn't been such a dominant CHAMPION? I doubt it. Werdum is a great fighter and an articulate, likeable guy with some great wins. But we're talking (he's talking) All Time Great here. Defenses do mean jack shit when we're talking all-time greats. With all do respect, it is your opinion that doesn't mean jack shit.

Fedor Emelianenko - He is the greatest of all time, always admired him, always I watched his fights. Fedor always behaved like a samurai, respecting opponents. He speaks little and shows a lot of fight time.

Physically, it does not seem very well, it is chubby, not to mention fat, but the power of his hand is amazing. Fight him is being in danger all the time. He speaks with his eyes, "I'll knock you out."

Overeem got his Strikeforce belt against Buentillo before Strikeforce was developed and had all other HW top fighters.

Although in that case Fedor wasn't in the GP so Mirko didn't have the case of passing him.

What I think Mirko did have was a very stable position as the #3 guy in Pride, moving up to #2 after the OWGP. Granted 02-06 doesn't seem THAT long but you need to consider the activity level, in that period Mirko fought

Fedor, Nog, Barnett x 3, Aleks, Wanderlei x 2, Herring, Hunt, Igor, Coleman, Fujita x 2, Yoshida, Randleman x 2, Sakuraba, Waterman.

Even ignoring his lower level wins in less than 5 years he built up a record that would take more like 8-9 years in the UFC.

Whats more when Mirko was the consensus #3 fighter it was in an era were the #1 and #2 fighters were VERY well established and neiother they nore the vast majority of the other big names were showing signs of decline. No musical chairs rankings or catching anyone droping off for easier big name wins.

JDS has a far superior record, better resume and beat Hunt AND Werdum.
