I personally think Werdum has 1,000,000x better judgement of top 5 MMA HW fighters than you and the rest of the LHK fans that equate exciting finishes automatically to GOAT status. Sports fans gravitate toward the spectacle.

He lost to Fedor because of the style matchup but he has better wins with a resume like Cro Cop, Barnett, Karitanov, Schilt, Rodriguez, Coleman(a younger, better version than the one fedor beat) Couture, Herring, Sylvia, also Werdum and Hendo the two guys who crushed fedor.

That's one of the best list of wins in MMA history. I would even say Nog would have the best HW resume easily if he had only retired after beating Couture @ 32-5.

It is doubtful that Fedor is even in the top 5 GOAT hw after Cain, JDS and Overeem are done fighting.

Fair enough, we will see. I sincerely hope that you are incorrect. If you are, I highly expect with the average attention span of the Sherdog poster, that Miocic will immediately enter the discussion of GOAT HW MMA fighter within seconds of his victory this Saturday evening. I do agree with you on both Hunt and Cain not being in my top 5 MMA HW's of all time.

It is going on a three years since he won a fight, and the fanbase is using terms like "a come back" for a man in his early thirties in the oldest WC in the sport! If Cain is indeed shot, and does not TURN IT AROUND in the future, has no reason to be on that list.

I think that Cain, CC, Hunt and possibly even JDS should not be on the list at this point. I also think that Randy and Timmeh don't get 1/100th the respect that they deserve by exactly what I outlined above with Stipe. What have you done for me lately is NOT GOAT and that is where Sherdog posters fail.

If Stipe beats Werdum on Saturday, I would bet you the farm that the SHERDOG GOAT call will be loud and clear before Sunday morning arrives. He will also be a worthless can after his next loss, but that is an entirely different story.

Sylvia has a better career overall. Your best argument for Cain was that he beat Bigfoot and JDS, followed by a bunch of basically B list fighters.Nog was so out of it around the time he fought Cain that he had armies of therapists just to help him train. Cain is a pretty boy with 2 marquee names that he beat and little mileage. At least Sylvia has more fights. I think Cain is good enough to pass Sylvia with ease but he hasn't done it yet. Fedor pulverized Nog, changed his face so lol and he was undefeated for ten years. Fedor was gonna fight both Barnett and Couture but it didn't happen for reasons that aren't his fault. He has the most top ten wins in HW history so lol dude. Nog is the 2nd best HW ever so no shame in that
