i rewwatched jon hess vs andy anderson and a few k1 fights and was woundering are there any styles besides thai that allow knee strikes.plus where dose the eye gougeing come from.

Basic standing knee strikes are used in karate. Pro wrestling also has knee strikes like the Shining Wizard, Go to Sleep, High Knee, Backbreaker, Stomach Block, etc. Eye gouging is a basic street fight tactic.

Knee strikes are very much in every style I have seen or read about......

Eye gouging or eye strikes are taught in every self-defense portion of martial arts training.

oh i just remembered keith hackney and chuck liddell useing white tiger kempo karate witch included eye gouges at least in chucks case' keith never used gouges.

I like the Chuck comment since he did poke several fighters in the eye during the UFC. Seems to happen a little too often.

id like to see stomps' headbutts' groin strikes' knees and kicks to the head of a downed opponent made legal again in NHB\mma.

If that were to happen you can kiss sanctioning goodbye. There have to be rules to ensure the fighters safety is paramount so the average fan/politician can watch and know he's/she's not going to see someone get killed.

so much 4 my hope of mark coleman comeing back to dominate the ufc with headbutts again

With Power Slap and bareknuckle fighting making a comeback I'm really hoping we can get a league that allows all of these types of techniques again.

There's King of the Streets in Sweden, everything allowed, eye gouging, biting and so on. They have a fight were one fighter bit off a part of his opponents ear and he answered by taking him down and poking his eye to submit him.

That's what I'm talking about!

Goddamnit Jon you've got to sober up!

Do it for your kids!

Drop this eyegouge obsession!

It's only detracting from your legacy!

I wonder how Jon Hess would do in this league. It's not too late to make a comeback.

Yes, thats the one. There are a couple of other with bites and gouging both I think this is the only one that have both.

Incl for SD situations. Old wrestling rules especially had attempted to ban this....headbutts too.
Knees usually are used like in KB if rules allows to hit opponent with knee.
