The FBI already try to stop it. The fact that they are hyper fixated on such a small number calling it the greatest domestic threat to our nation is complete fearmongering. More people die in a few weekends in Chicago. It's like saying shark attacks are the biggest threat to America because they kill 4 Americans a year. Do you not see this as basic fearmongering propaganda?

And yes, you should fixated on curing the most popular diseases. That's actually exactly what happens. Diseases that affect one in a billion people do not get the same attention as ones that affect one in a hundred. Perhaps instead of writing a reddit-esque monologue you tried to think about it for a second you would've realized that and the logic behind it. Did you miss the whole COVID-19 thing that happened recently?

I think it's hard to categorise what is an "extremism murder" but I think people are lying to themselves if they deny that these groups aren't a massive threat

DO YOU ALSO AGREE that the FBI should stop then investigating international terrorist threats to America which represent even smaller numbers?

if you say they should investigate international terrorism, do you think then an annual report analyzing the threat and putting it in to context should be shared? and if so, do you think that is good for domestic terrorism threats too?

I am not against stopping any terrorism (within legal means). I don't know why you invented that in your head. The fear mongering is what I am against. I think you and the ADL don't really care about people being murdered, you care about pushing a narrative that right wing people are crazy extremists because of something inherent to right wing ideology (which is already an amorphous definition enough, yet alone one that is taken up by an significantly biased organization like the ADL). The ADL doesn't post articles on significantly more common types of violence and murders. Why do you think that is?

Why do you fear a report?

I felt no fear when i read that report.

I feel no fear when i read reports about the state of Al Qaeda or any of the other islamic terrorism threats and how they are poised to threaten America.


What is it in you, that you think made you so fearful that a simple report by some group, gets you so fearful?

I'll address the WHATABOUTISM.

The biggest threat in America to individuals generally is domestic violence. Tons of reports on by local policing and other agencies. Never checked if ADL focuses on it or not. Don't really care.

The next biggest threat in America is local violence like you get in Kevin McCarthy and Jim Jordans district. Again tons of local policing and other agency reports on that. Whether or not the ADL focuses on it, don't really care.


Again your entire argument always reduces back to WHATABOUT bigger crimes. Such that the FBI or ADL reporting on terrorism threats should not be done.

That is simply a dumb reductionist view as ALL of it needs to be examined and you have certain groups or agencies who will have more of one focus and not the other and that IS FINE.

You scream over and over 'why is that Dr promoting colon cancer awareness for men when heart disease is a bigger killer', is just the worst kind of reductionist WHATABOUTISM arguments that really have no place.

If the FBI or ADL releases an annual report on Domestic terrorism, simply because you get so scared, does not mean it is wrong to do, or for us to discuss.

We talk about regular crime pretty much every day here and have threads bumped on it regularly.

For the rest of us we can discuss terrorism within crime, and where and how domestic terrorism fits in that, even if heart attacks kill more people.
