LAPD is not even putting out motors due to the threat this maniac poses. Other departments in the area are also not letting units go out unless they are riding 2 man units.

Damn, this guy is waging a war against the LAPD. Very sad to hear. Me and that girl were in high school together and neighbors growing up.

That's what I thought!

Then I started thinking about who's going to play this guy in the movie. I don't think Sapp is up to the task.

Samuel Jackson, Will Smith, Don Cheadle, Jamie Foxx & Cuba Gooding Jr. are all on the phone with their agents as we speak.

Makes sense, he'd have no issues running down motors and they'd have little cover from him even if they were able to avoid getting hit.

The fact that he touts his reputation as a marksman is telling of his desire to keep a distance from his targets... afterall, they were trained by the same people. Anyone know if he's in uniform or plain clothes?

Not always the case anymore, but in this situation, it's only ending one of two ways. He is going down in a hail of gunfire, or he is getting cornered somewhere and offing himself.
 
So far he is reported wearing camo's, possibly tac gear as well. Armed with several weapons, including a rifle. His manifesto claims he has a Barrett 50 cal sniper rifle and an SA-7, which is a Russian made, man-portable surface to air missile system. My guess is he's planned this for a while and is likely armed to the teeth and armored as well.

I didn't think Barrets were legal in CA... and obviously the SA-7 isn't... Clearly he was a good, solid, law abiding citizen both on the force and off... Makes me question his claims of being setup/lied about
 
Yeah, depending on what he did in the Navy he could have stolen some of that stuff. As far as the Barrett, he could have bought one pre-ban in CA or out of state.

And yeah, Torrance seems to have gotten carried away. I guess one of the listed targets lives in Torrance so I'm not sure what happened in their two shootings.

LAPD is on Tactical Lockdown and not letting officers leave work.

I highly doubt this dude is gonna off himself. He's gonna go down in a hail of lead and a pile of brass.

If thats true then thats really scary. Im really hoping that no one else gets injured and that they take this asshole down soon.
