Evidence the Ank rib video isn't from when it's claimed?

It wasn't a KO, it was a TKO.

That's a big distinction.
:D :D :D If Ankalaev got knocked hell out it would be better for him than this "mommy tucking" he did there :D

He literally prooved what type of fighter and person he is... - through whole fight week. From hiding in locker room to forfeiting fight in 20 seconds...?

And the ribs excuse? They should have think it through before releasing such a thing. Like didn't Ankalaev do grappling drills in one of UFC videos prefight? Doing transitions, controlling sparrings back and etc with this "so called broken rib?" -

1. I highly doubt that he had broken rib, because if he really had that he would be first to cancel fight.

2. Even if so, Pereira had broken wrist and couldn't strike with his main hand during first fight and Ankalaev still just hugged him to close victory.

Ankalaev was in 3 titleshots all the fights were bullshittery and one of them was given to him for absolutely nothing. Feed this clown to Jiri or Roundtree and he is getting another L. With that said Ankalaev is definitely not deserving of another title shot. -He shoudl finally deserve one by fighting top competition and not cherrypicking favourable matchups...end of story, enjoy.

Again a false interpretation, maybe it’s your projection? Don’t know.
For me it’s just an observation, for a couple of years, how things have developed around here and on social media platforms.
In general it amuses me and I find it very entertaining to see things getting exposed.
For "years" I've been thinking about the "entertaining" topic of excuses made by "neckbeards" "ratlip" and "bathtub brigade".

i can believe this because if he had broken ribs before the fight and THEN Alex elbowed the fuck out of his rib he'd have immediately tapped, cringed in severe pain, screamed out, gasped or something. no fuckin ways a professional striker just smash you in the broken ribs and you keep covering your head.
I mean, I won’t say you are Sherdog’s own Sherlock Holmes, but I don’t think anyone could argue with that one.

Broken ribs totally suck. You can’t breathe properly, you can’t turn or twist your torso, you can’t laugh or cough without blinding pain. Imagine a 225 pound killer pounding your miserable ribs with 12-to-6 elbows? Yeah, you wouldn’t just lay there waiting for the ref to maybe step in.

Whichever way you cut it...

I never like unfinished business.

1-1 and both sides came with excuses (legit or not). They should run it back.

The animosity between camps makes it even more dramatic and entertaining.

The only two component opponents ?

Izzy couldn’t beat Jan and Ank limped out the cage in tears after fighting him, Strickland whooped Izzy and Izzy was called out for a LHW fight and said he was done with the rivalry.

The only guy Jiri has lost to in almost 10 years is Pereira.

He’s already faced the boogeyman Ank twice, a guy he’s apparently shit scared of, going to HW wouldn’t be avoiding Ank, we’ve know for a while a move to HW was Pereira’s plan, besides didn’t Ank also say he wanted to move up after one or two more fights.

If people can’t admit at this stage Pereira’s legit then they never will.

I keep hearing about fighters going into the octagon with a broken rib, but I have a hard time buying it. It's a debilitating condition even for house chores and if you're not dirt poor or a middle of the pack guy who just needs to be a company man I see no reason to go into a fight you'll most likely lose.

Interesting plotline, I guess...but the only real difference it makes is whether you think Ank/Ali are now embarrassing themselves with a fake timeline as a cover up or they are just stupidly negligent in taking such a high stakes fight with an elite opponent while so badly compromised.

*shrugs*

Who cares. He didn't have injured ribs in the fight or he woudn't have been able to move or shoot for a TD at all.

It was obviously after the fight damage control by Ali after talking so much shit to Alex just to be put back in his place.

Never going to happen. A first round KO >>>>> a boring close decision win.
reminds me of serra vs gsp

also reminds me of gsp boring decision fights

If he really had a broken rib you'd have known it because of his reaction when Alex was elbowing the crap out of that very spot. Anyone who ever broke a rib would know that
