Evidence the Ank rib video isn't from when it's claimed?

We all remember the whole Performance Institute shit. About a week out from the fight. Ank's hair in those vids are visibly longer than in the rib video.

It seems he had been letting his hair grow out a bit and then cut it shorter and trimmed his bead for media day.

His hair and beard in the rib video more matches how he looked at fight night. The vid has to either be from AFTER the fight or much further back than claimed.

EDIT: OR his hair just grows ridiculously fast

He does seem like the kinda man that could grow hair faster than the average. Even though hair growing doesn't work like that as i recall.. Still i'll just believe for entertainment.

It's not the fact he claimed his ribs are broken that I don't buy, it's WHEN they say he suffered the injury (which I believe was from Alex's 6 or 7 full-strength elbows DIRECTLY to the ribs)

I mean maybe he didn't break them at all tho, idk

That's exactly when they broke, the picture even lines up with where Alex's hellbows were landing lol

First fight Alex was claiming he was only at 40 percent.

Second fight Ank says he had broken ribs.

Third fight??? 🤔

At the end of the day, there's only one way to settle this -> 1-1

I myself am pretty pumped to see the trilogy bout, with both fighters going into the fight publicly admitting that they're each only fighting at 30% or so. And the thought of the loser of that bout's excuses. . . . .[swoon]

It was obviously after the fight damage control by Ali after talking so much shit to Alex just to be put back in his place.

Never going to happen. A first round KO >>>>> a boring close decision win.

It wasn't a KO, it was a TKO.

That's a big distinction.

Whatever helps you sleep better at night. Alex ran through Ankalaev in a minute. Cope

42% strength actually.

bro dont be delusional...the rematch is never going to happen
I mean the UFC isn't fond of Ank but a few solid wins and he's right back.

As fighters, I don't think any fighter would be happy 1-1 against someone they dislike.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In MMA, the difference between a Knockout (KO) and a Technical Knockout (TKO) centers on whether the losing fighter is unconscious or if the fight is stopped for safety

A KO is a conclusive end to a fight, while a TKO is a judgment call made to protect a fighter from unnecessary damage

You sir! Is the Sherlock Holmes of Sherdog.
Impressive work there! I like it.

Anyone who is a good person recognizes Ank as the reigning champion because his rib injury overshadows Alex's fluke punch and blocked elbows.

Alex is 38 years old, I don´t think he has more than one or two fights at LHW left. Ulberg and Jiri are ahead of Sleepy Ank, so it's not going to happen. You can cry now
