Everyone calling Xicão a Hype Job, a Bush League Big Fish etc., and getting gassed off Lewis's svelte appearance is going to be silenced this evening.

I'm still leaning Tallison, despite Lewis coming in great shape, at least for him.

In general, the smart money bets on the younger lions trying to prove a point whose reflexes, speed, etc. aren't tarnished with age. Lewis is 40 and kind of like Roy Nelson at that age. He still has KO power, but his big punches are more telegraphed and he's largely a one-trick pony. Both he and Nelson did start to wrestle more as they got older, but I don't know if he wants to tangle with a BJJ black belt on the ground...whether that belt was really earned or not (you never know, especially in Brazil).

If Tallison is as easy to hit as he was in his DWCS fight, he's going night night

Don't you want to see some hot balls on the screen?

Lewis is ready to provide.

Seemed like Tallison got up grabbing the fence, I think Herzog mind glitched and he just stopped it

it appears your prediction didn't go well.

Even before the stoppage, he thumbed Lewis in the eye then got knocked on his ass by an old one eyed fighter. He's no Tim Sylvia

Tallison is 6'7", 83" reach and 259lbs.

He has finished every one of his opponents in the first round.

He's main event on his second fight in the UFC for a reason, and he's already ranked 13th.

If we were talking about say 2017 Lewis maybe this conversation would be different, but Derrick unfortunately is now 40 and 2-4 in his last six, being finished in three of those losses (Tallison is 25).

I see Lewis getting finished brutally tonight. I expect Xicão to respect his power and experience and go carefully for a minute or two, but once he adjusts to Derrick's movement, rhythm etc. I see him starting to throw heat, and get him out of there in two rounds max. Neither of them is big on grappling so that's how it will go. Then a more formidable opponent for Tallison, but at 25 and 9 fights no need to climb the staircase two steps at a time.
imaging being this fucking stupid

Herzog likely thought he was reffing a #PowerSlap match, where this sort of stoppage is standard in order to ensure fighter safety. Simple mistake!

I want to personally thank you for helping lead the army to make the line push to Lewis in the end.

Please be well and lesson yourself next time before main threading yourself to hell.

Or don't learn....will then repeat this cycle, either way, choice is yours!
