This reminds me UFC need to put Don Frye in UFC 4
Posting this in a forum where 99% of the people think Fedor is the HW goat, fighting never evolves, and the heroes of old wouldn't get beaten to a pulp in the modern era...this should go over well.
The truth may set you free, but first it's gonna piss you off.

Goddamn americans do not like british humour at all
Yeah....so what. It's a black and white era of mma and todays mma fighters have too many advantages. Why would someone bother to write something like this. We have thee most useless fans ( for the most part) and the journalists aren't much better.
It's incredible that he can pull off the Freddie Mercury look and STILL look like he wants to murder you and your entire family.Don Frye is the most badass looking fighter in history.
I didn't know DC was around back then.Don fought super heavyweights lol

Disgusting.
It's like he's trying to say that this guy wasn't all that technically skilled.

Lol try that with any top 20 HW or LHW nowadays and you will have a coming to God moment. The clinch revolutionized mma. Rock em Sock Em died A LONG time ago sadly. The knees and elbows Frye would receive vs a modern fighter I wouldn't envy. With that being said claiming ANYONE would beat him is a pinch excessive. A picogramDisgusting.

Hed lose to just about everyone. I'd give him a token victory in an 8 fight contract [ 1-7].....prime Frye. This is mma and fighting isnt fighting. Yes- at the end of the day it's a fistfight in a cage but it's still mma and the structure of combat is just different .please.Frye was from a black and white era relatively speaking...and he was a standout in such era
Fighting is fighting
Frye was well versed in the already fully evolved fighting arts of boxing, judo and wrestling. Along with great athletic ability, toughness, heart and punching power.
The advantages of modern training techniques don't allow you to overcome all that by default
